What's new

College Basketball '14-15......

And lulz at acting like working 60 hours a week is some astronomical number! It's impressive no doubt, and good for your brother for doing that, but it's not that uncommon. As a high schooler in the summers I was working 70-100 hours a week so that I wouldn't have to work during school. You do what you have to so that you can do what you want, and you be thankful for the opportunity to do so, because it isn't guaranteed! Now lets get back to basketball!!!

I used to be impressed with myself that I worked hard - 80hrs/wk.

I am way happier now, though, working 12-15. **** parity.

This game is a thriller. Alot of talent on both teams that I'll be able to watch all over Europe the next years.

I ****ing love M State. Tom Izzo is a good coach. Has he ever coached in the NBA?
The way he prepares his teams, handles himself makes it easy for me to relate to the team.

About to be 13.

Because someone will assuredly ask what my opinion is, so they can troll. Not in order;

Sean Miller (great recruiter, good floor coach, great motivator)
Coach K (great recruiter, great floor coach, but not as good as used to be, great motivator)
Izzo (average recruiter, fantastic floor coach, good motivator)
Greg Marshall (I think)
Mark Few (somewhat)
Pitino (good floor coach, average recruiter, poor developer of talent)
Calipari (best recruiter of all time, master motivator, average floor coach)

- I just lost interest ..

Duke gonna blow Gonzaga out the water.

I see how it's started, but I think it'll be close.

Duke sucks at defense over the course of the game and Zags are good enough on offense that I don't see either team winning by much.

Duke - 76
Zags - 70

And I never suggested that my brother's 60 hour weekly workload is monstrous. In case you've forgotten, I mentioned that my dad works much more.

You used it as evidence that he was a hard worker. I would argue he was simply doing what he had to do to get the job. That's doing what is expected. I'm not saying that your brother isn't a hard worker, I'm sure he is, just saying that hours worked isn't a good example of it. I know plenty of people who work less hours who are word workers, and plenty who work more hours who aren't hard workers. It's pretty subjective tbh.

Archie Miller could be up there too. Had an incredible year at Dayton when you consider the roster before him! Only had like 6 or 7 scholarship players I think!

Man we only got good upsets on day one. We should all be happy about Kentucky, if not for their storyline it would be a really lame tourney. 3 one seeds and Mich. St. In the F4. BORING.
