What's new

College Basketball '14-15......

That's the only part thats maybe a little optimistic, cuz who really knows with seeding.

My point is, this will be a really good year and I honestly expect us to be a Sweet 16 team.

Cool.

Not being a dick.. but THIS year, we would beat you by 75.

big game, i don't know if i'd say a game this early is a must win but if we want any respect we need to win games like this.

got my tickets, can't wait for wednesday

Nice bro! Wish I were in Utah for the game!

I'm assuming you've seen this??

won't happen. But I WANT to see you guys there... just being realistic. that's not.

On the realistic front: Utah was voted #2 in the Pac behind Arizona. Now, preseason votes don't mean jack, but should Utah finish #2 in the Pac, which is considered to be a conference that will spit out a 1 or a 2 seed, why is it unrealistic to expect the 2nd place team could be a 4 or a 5 seed?

Whether it's Utah, or somebody else, I'm fairly confident you'll see the 2nd place Pac team have a legit shot at a 5 seed.

Edit: Or perhaps you were talking about the Sweet 16. Even then, if Utah does score a 5 seed or higher, depending on the bracket, it's not exactly like they'd be facing murderers row during their first 2 tourney games, but now I'm getting ahead of myself.

Utah should win that game. I have a hard time believing Witchita State is still a top 10 team without Cleanthony Early - that dude was clutch.

I was looking up some Utah State info because BYU plays them tonight and was pleased to see that the best hair in college basketball is still around:

They still have Ron Baker and VanVleet. Those guys are better than any Utah players.

WSU hasn't lost a regular season game in 2 years. This Utah team still doesn't have a quality win yet, so do we really know how good they are?

I predict WSU by 5.

Utah is a very similar team to what they were last year with no significant losses , and with a couple of solid additions so there is a lot to go on. Does WSU even have a post game? I know they play small ball, and the Utah has some pretty lengthy, athletic guys, that can probably stick on Baker and give him problems.

Baker is strong and long. He can give Utah problems more than the other way around.

Lol at Harrison twins being underrated. They are accurately rated as scrubs placeholders for Devin Booker.

I'm interested in seeing Jakob Poeltl against Wichita State, do they have anyone with that kind of size? He's been really dominant lately even if the opponents were cup cakes. Just gotta make dem freebies
