College Basketball '14-15......

Where is that Kafusi guy who was suppose to give Zagz problems, BYU looks so small compared to Gonzaga

48-42 at the half. BYU surprisingly hanging around thanks to their strong guard play. That Collinsworth dude is impressive at getting to the FT line and grabbing boards. Kind of reminds me of young Harpring.

3:37 left, 10 pt Gonzaga lead, can BYU go on a run? Besides Collinsworth they looked outmatched all night.

Sabonis - 15pts, Wiltjer -17, Karnowski -12.
Kaufusi - 0.

Ummmmm.....

He's not really an offensive threat yet. But he went from being totally lost, to a good quality backup that happens to be starting because BYU doesn't have anyone else right now, because of his defense, athleticism and rebounding. Which makes a lot of BYU fans think he'll be solid starter material by next year.

Did you see those other guys BYU tried to throw in there in the post? Awful. Issac Nielsen's leg buckled underneath him on one of those plays that Big Poland backed him down - that about summed up that game for me. You can't be 6'11" and built like a twig and expect to stop that dude. But hey, that goes for most college teams too. If Gonzaga's shooters are rolling, pick your poison. You let them shoot open shots, or you let a 7'2" 300 + lb man with a nice touch around the hoop push you around in the post. There might be 5 guys in college ball that have a prayer of not being physically dominated by him.

Wyoming is still the most athletic team I've seen this season. After watching UNC/Louisville and then Utah State/Wyoming. It was that much more obvious. And their guard(Adams?) is crafty as hell. Fun team. Too bad they probably won't make the tourney.

And if you watch them, as a bonus, whatever TV station they are playing on always shows this guy in the crowd about 100X a game:

Check out this Kaufusi dunk mane.

lol Kaufusi lasted 1 minute in second half before hitting bench with 3 fouls

In all seriousness he didnt play basketball in HS, grew like 6 inches on his mission, hadn't played any sports in over 2 years, and has made remarkable progress in a short amount of time.

I'll repost this boss dunk in case you missed it.
