College Basketball '14-15......

Sucked so bad to see St Johns blow that lead to Duke. MSG was rocking. They were feeding off that energy. Playing fast. Playing bigger than the stage. Then they woke up and realized they aren't that good. I've always liked them since the Ron Artest days for some reason.

Washington had a guy that was a monster, Robert Upshaw, we had no answer for him. If we didn't already have Gobert I'd think about drafting him.

Dismissed for violation of team rules (drugs).. After being dismissed from Fresno St. for the same, 3 times.
Elite shot blocker and idiot.

I claim him off....aaaa....waivers? On behalf of Brigham Young University. I grant the NCAA the right to approve a special mid-year transfer to BYU.

Naw, but really, sucks because I remember reading this a month ago:

Upshaw's evolution into an impact college player and an NBA prospect is a testament to his perseverance because there were times when it seemed his basketball career had stalled.

This is a guy who averaged an underwhelming 4.1 points and 3.8 rebounds as a freshman at Fresno State despite arriving with more hype than any recruit the school has landed in years. This is a guy who Fresno State coach Rodney Terry suspended twice as a freshman for team rules violations and eventually decided was more trouble than he was worth. This is a guy whose spot on the Washington roster was in jeopardy last spring after the coaching staff banned him from attending practices or games so he could address his off-court issues.

"I think it has made Rob a stronger person fighting through so many obstacles to get to this point," said his mother Ceylon Sherman. "Rob has always been a sweet, caring person, but the decisions and choices he was making weren't the right ones. He has matured a lot over the last year or two. Now he appreciates what he has more because he had to work harder to achieve it."

Bad habits/attitudes don't die easily though. It's possible he is a better person than he was at Fresno but still not where he needs to be. Hopefully this latest dismissal is the impetus for a bigger step forward and he can at least get a shot at being a pro.

Just walked right past Delon Wright, tried to talk to him, ended up peeing my pants and throwing up in a nearby bush. Best moment of my life tbh.

I'd politely let Delon know how much better I think Kyle Collinsworth is than him if I ever saw him.....and then toss him in the bushes.

Should be interesting to see what Utah does tomorrow @ UCLA. Probably wont be a 30 spread again....but if itwas...even though UCLA sucks.....that would be impressive.

Delon Wright aint even good.

Dude is playing studly right now. Ute fans aren't the only ones that think so. >LINK If he shot a bit better from deep he would be a mid-lotto pick. As is he will go mid first round.

How's MSU doin by the way? lol

He only claims MissSt when they do good.
He never claims MissSt.

What standard is Krzyzewski talking about? What did the kid do/not do?

I am trying to find out. It seems pretty tight-lipped. My guess is a lot of little things like late to practice, missing class.. stuff like that. I doubt it's anything big. (though the Duke board believes it's something big because he played just last night and then is suddenly dismissed.)

The article I reaad said he was in good academic standing. It sounds like some other more srs detail is about to drop.
