What's new

College Basketball 2015-2016 Thread

With 10 minutes to go vs Harvard, Kris Dunn has 18-5-5-7stls- 1blk,, not the most efficient shooting night though.

I'm excited for Duke/Kentucky just based on Duke's team picture. They look like they potentially have 4 or 5 punchable guys this year. I think Grayson is probably already there based on what I've seen of him. It's always better to watch Duke when you feel like you want to throw blows at your TV. Winslow/Jones/Okafor/Quinn didn't really bring that out of you.

Jamal Murray is legit. Miles ahead of the Harrison twins at the same stage. Skal didn't do enough to judge. Ulis is a great college player - so under control.

Grayson Allen struggled tonight, but he'll have a great year. Loves to attack, but UK's bigs had his number tonight. Impressed with the frosh PG, Thornton. Ingram didn't do a lot, but the skill is apparent.

Ulis is in a class of his own, may be small but loves to push the ball and is under control as said above and will attack the paint with results....one of my players I have to watch this year

Is there a site where I can see average foul shooting of the whole NCAA? It has been atrocious in every game I've watched of college ball so far this year.

Denzel Valentine is crazy good. And because he's an upperclassman, all the dumbass lottery teams are going pass on him in the draft and the Warriors or Spurs will pick him up and the rich will get richer.

Bill Self coached an atrocious game.
Valentine could have taken a dump on Self's forehead and he still wouldn't have changed up his defensive scheme. He also didn't play his best guys (which is common for him).

I like it though because I like Izzo and hate Kansas.

Self is weird. Says Greene is the best shooter he's ever coached, then plays him about 10 minutes.

#1 ranked North Carolina down 58-59 vs Northern Iowa, 7 minutes to go. UK's obviously the best team, probable 2-peat on deck.

Duke won it last year.
But I will gladly take a repeat of last year's 38-0 start and take my chances beginning from there.

So with all the hype for Kriss Dunn, does anyone want to talk about the other junior PG Demetrius Jackson?

I guess he hasn't played anyone really, but he is tearing it up.

Also, what about Purdue? They have to be the only team in the country with 2 huge centers who can play.
