College Football *2015*

The only reason Wilson has a higher Total QBR rating is because Dak has been told to stop running the ball as much. He is no longer doing QB sneaks constantly and putting as much punishment on his body in the run game. It really hurt State last year when his knee was badly banged up in the last quarter of the year. So he is doing a lot more check downs than running it himself. Dak's passer rating is higher than Wilson because he is a much better QB. Also pretty sure Dak holds the current streak for most attempts without an interception. Truly remarkable he has 0 TO's given how much pressure he has been under with the (lack of) quality from our O-Line and lack of running game support.

I will concede Utah has the better overall team at this point, but Wilson just isn't as good as Dak. Not at all. Dak is basically the entire offense right now as all our RB"s and O-Line are mediocre.

Who else in the country has two wins over CURRENT top 25 teams?

Not to nit-pick, and I know you already think I'm the worst Utah fan ever, but I'm curious who the 2 CURRENT top 25 teams are. I assume Michigan is one, but you're gonna have to fill me in on the other. I can't figure it out.

He thinks Oregon is a top 25 team, but he thinks Utah should be #1 based on quality of wins, yet Oregon has 0 quality wins and thinks they should be top 25.

You see the consistency in his logic, right?

Next two games for them: @Colorado and Wazzu.

If they can't get the ship righted against those two, then they might be in trouble.

They should still win @UW, @ASU, and OSU.

Cal is a tough call. They're like Oregon Jr.

USC and @Stanford will be tough games. But those both come late in the schedule, so we should have a pretty good idea how competitive they'll be by then.

Personally, I hope they win out. It'd do the Utes a huge favor.

Yeah, them winning out would be huge.

Nonetheless, it's a quality win no matter what. Beating any in-conference opponent on the road is always tough, even when they aren't necessarily good team.

I'll see your ESPN individual stat page and raise you one ESPN quarterback rating page.

Look at number 1. Now look at number 20.

Keep in mind that I am a BYU fan sticking up for Utah's QB. Your post was simply so retarded that I had to say something.

Simply so retarded?

Are you serious? You have probably never seen Dak play. Is this ignorance that really paints some Utah and BYU fans in a bad light.

It's not even close. Wilson is simply not on the same level.

Dak has thrown for double the yards, nearly double the TD's (and you know, they all didnt come in one game), and he doesnt have nearly the same level offensive line or running game to support him. Keep looking at that one stat that places way too much weight on scrambling for big gains. Dak is far and away the better QB.

Even a Utah news source didnt even rate Travis Wilson in the top 25 QB before the season started. The dude isn't that good and isn't on the level of Dak. If you asked anyone they will tell you Dak is the superior QB, it's as plain as night and day. The fact that you consider a Senior QB, who failed to throw for a TD in his first two games, the top QB is laughable. Dak hasn't gone without a passing TD since his Sophomore year.

Michigan is ranked in the AP and coaches poll. There is team #1.

Oregon is ranked in the coaches poll. There is team #2.

Look at the stats bro. Wilson, #1 QBR. Come back when you've beaten a ten win team or Alabama.

The rest is just noise.

I like Dak. He's a fun, exciting player to watch and I think he's the main reason MSU is relevant again. Travis might be the grittiest football player I've ever seen and obviously, Utah is a much, much better football team when he's behind center. With all that being said, you guys arguing over Dak and Travis should chill out. It's like arguing about Camry's and Sentra's when there's dudes out there driving Mercedes.

They're both incredibly important to their respective teams but there are much, much better QB's scattered around college football.

There really isn't. Dak is the best QB this year (though its not saying a ton because it is a down year for College QB's and even NFL prospect QB's) and probably the most important player to his team, bar none.

Dak is the better QB if you just take this year into account.

If you take the past year into account, it's becomes crystal clear Dak is a completely different caliber.

It's just obvious. Take off your homer glasses.

Dak has accounted for 84 TD's over his career.

Wilson has accounted for 62.

Pretty sure (though not certain) Dak has less career starts also.

Dak also has 18 INT's to Wilson's 28.

Total Yards? Do Utah fans even want to know how big of a gap it is?

Dak has 8794 and Wilson has 6778.

Dak prescott has a cooler name than Travis Wilson

Utah has beaten a ten win team this year? I didn't even know it was possible to have ten wins through the first four weeks.

Maybe stop spending so much time defending a QB that you know is better? Take a breath, go outside for a sec. Nature is beautiful and soothing.
