The worst conference? The Big 12 is ****ing awful and far worse.

Don't forget the ACC. Aside from Louisville and Clemson, that league is awful. And besides 'Bama, the SEC is wildly mediocre this year IMO. The SEC East is hot garbage and the West has some bad teams, some "meh" teams, a couple of teams I would classify as good, not great in A&M and LSU, and then Bama which is certainly the best team in the country. The Big 10 is the best conference in the nation this year and it's really not even close.

The PAC-12 is the clear #2 conference and not far behind the SEC.

In fact, I'd argue that if the PAC-12 only played 8 conference games and you'd give the PAC-12 six more wins, they'd be the best conference.

The PAC-12 has half its teams ranked.

The ACC is a better conference than the Big 12 and it's not close this year imo. FSU, while flawed is a very solid team that got robbed vs Clemson. Add in North Carolina and Pitt who can score with anyone in the country, and Duke who is very well-rounded and beat UNC and almost beat Louisville and you have depth and teams (many anyway) that play some defense. In the Big 12, basically no one plays defense. Every single team gives up a zillion points. WVU is probably the only team that plays some semblance of defense.

As Cy has proven, anyone with half a brain knows the PAC-12 is, at worst, the second best conference this year.

1/2 the PAC-12 ranked shows that.

The cream rises to the top.

I will say I'm mildly excited for Mississippi State football next year. Fitzgerald has some real talent. If he can take the next step and become a more consistent passer, both physically and reading his progressions, State will be an exciting team to watch again.

Shout out to Kentucky for whooping that Louisville ***.

Shout out to Mississippi State for whooping the Ole Miss ***.
