Aerosmith gets a bad rap because they turned into a band of ******* somewhere around 1990.

Their body of work from '71 to '90 (minus the dogs "Rock in a Hard Place" and "Done With Mirrors") is as solid or more so than the Stones, IMO.

They are, arguably, the greatest American rock band.

I personally know no fewer than 4 17-22 year olds that are into The Beatles solely because of Rock Band.

That being said, w/o Rock Band, The Beatles would still be on top of this challenge.
