It looks like the puck hit the goalie which caused the puck to rotate quickly. Once on the ice the fast rotation of the puck caused it to curve in the direction of the rotation.

It looks like the home team has a magnetic Zamboni below the ice, which can be used to pull the metal filled puck into the goal.
At first I thought it might have been a trick involving Flubber, but when the puck didn't bounce I had to dismiss that theory.

Looks like the puck was on its end, possibly tilted over slightly. Then it would "roll" in a circle, kind of a like a frisbee would. Or perhaps the puck flipped up on end right there and the end dug into the ice, stopping its forward momentum.
