Netflix already has been for a long while, and the telephone companies are starting to really pound comcast into the dirt. The problem will be when the old monopolies and duopolies are replaced by the new ones that will quickly take up the same tactics that comcast and AT&T are famous for. I can easily see netflix charging $300/yr for NBA league pass and offering their other services as a bonus, introductory offer for 12 months.
