Totally convinced this is a TRUE statement. My only concern is the Jazz are trying to turn him into the prototypical Jazz center. He has been consistently left open near the
free throw line ( not a surprise for large bodied rookie centers, they are left open until they prove they can stick it from there) and just as consistently he passes the shot, when
i know he can shoot well from there. Why? It's apparent he has been told not to shoot it from there and being an obedient young man, does so. Is this a threat to the
Jazz way of life if their center takes 2-3 jump shoots from 15 feet? Apparently so. They don't want another Memo. But i am not saying he should be another Memo. Just take the
easy jumpers when presented with the opportunity.
absolutely right! when enes took a shot from mid-range matt harpring said: "it was way off his range." that's not true. he is not an "andrew bynum" type center (just an example). its all about confidence. when he fully earns, he will be a serious threat in the offensive end. he is not a putback man on the offense! but anybody can block him (for now)... should be quicker.
