We aren’t going to stop Doncic regardless but we match up with them exponentially better.
 
Why not throw Dok and Eliza Hughes at them if Conley is out for awhile. There is virtually no game tape on either and they can play of they can't. This might be a good way to find out.

I think mostly because they both suck and we have better options... other than that I think you nailed it :)

Exactly I also think they rely too much on him and it will make it easier for us to guard them. I think they have little chance at slowing us down and that is the key. Luka could average 40 and 10 and I think we could still take care of them.

He will also wear out doing what he's doing. He has to get in better shape if this is how he's going to play.

I’m enough in favor of Dallas that I’d happily take them in this 6th game. They cannot run the same switch-heavy defensive scheme as LAC.... which can really derail our offense.

Clips also have Zubac and Ibaka could get healthy... both provide some reasonable rim presence. Clips just have too many perimeter defenders that can cause us issues. I'd much rather play Dallas and its not close.

While Mavs in 7 would be ideal in hindsight, there's no way I want to get that close. I want the Mavs to close it out tonight.
 
Would be sweet to have the Clips win tonight and the Mavs win on Sunday...and then we don’t start til Tuesday or maybe, even better, Wednesday. That could help rejuvenate Joe and we can sit Conley until we lose. At least that would be my approach. Frankly, even if we lost game one, we should be able to win game two with our backs against the wall against the Mavs without Mike.

Doubt Mavs win in a Game 7. Of course that’s ideal but I’ll take facing the Mavs earlier than facing the Clips later.
