What's new

Cooley

I hope Cooley sticks. I really do. Impossible not to like what he brings. And he brings a tangible skill (rebounding). I'm baffled Ingles has a roster spot. I'd also like to see Booker back too. With the signing of Neto, we're running out of spots.

The best thing Cooley does is he actually goes up and grabs rebounds with 2-hands. Most guys try to one hand everything and just go in half-way. Cooley charges into a space and goes up strong.

Dudes...I really like this white boy. Cooley is good to go. Plays rough and Mr. Carr likes him.

Cooley was an afterthought for me, but I really like how he throws himself around while on the floor. Unless they bring over both Tomic and Pleiss, I'd like to see him stick. Being physical and getting rebounds is a quality skill set to have on the team.

I'd be fine for the front court ends up being - Gobert, Favors, Pleiss, Booker, Lyles and Cooley. That's a pretty solid group.

The only negative I saw in these two games is that he fouls too much and some of them silly fouls. But he does have the Big Dog seal of approval.

Cooley can be the 15th guy you hope plays only when we are up by 25. Admirable effort, no skill beyond being big and hustling. Gets every shot blocked that is not a putback or completely open on the pass. Likeable, but lacking talent.
