And only outscored the bench the last two games because Ty FINALLY replaced Marvin. And he's playing the starters a lot more (i.e.. Kanter hardly sees time, Carroll is out of the rotation completely).
 
I thought the whole point of getting a long term coaching contract was so that you could be ballsy and take risks to better your team for the long hall
 
It's a good thing he won't change the lineup against San Antonio, given all the success they've had vs. the Spurs.

He doesn't need to change our starting lineup. He's going to reach into his bag of tricks and convince Popovich to change his starting lineup.

I approve of this if it means he no longer makes coaching decisions. Maybe a Earl for Corbin trade would work. Earl becomes assistant to Jeff, and Corbin gets amnestied. Jeff finishes the year, and depending on how things go, decisions are made from there.
 
I would like to see a lineup of Burks, Mo, Hayward, Favors, and Kanter. I think Mo is valuable at the two. With Burks on the floor Mo can still guard the pg for the other team. I would be intrigued to see how Mo and Burks would play together.

The weird thing is he thinks that recent rotation got a better chance against the Spurs. Didn't we tried that like 10 times before? What a puss..

Agreed, what could we possibly lose at this point. While I don't think Evans is starting caliber and Burks isn't a our future at PG this team would be fun to watch for a while.
