Corbin's Agent Tweeting: "media out there who think Corbin is in any trouble have NO c lue"

I view the fact that his agent had to tweet this as a sign that he might be in trouble ...... if you have to ask why? you seriously need to pay attention to the games

ask yourself this are we just going to be OK forever?

This isn't news to most of us. Anyone who really thinks Corbin was going to be let go this offseason if we didn't make the playoffs was just fooling themselves.

Corbins job this year was to win as many games as possible with the roster he was given. I really think the Jazz turn it over to the young guys next year and that they wanted them playing on a team that was competing this year so they could see how much effort its going to take to win once they are handed the reins.

Fans are impatiant. The FO isn't. If they felt that next year was the year to really start the rebuild when all of the Vet contracts come off the books then Corbin is doing the Job that the FO gave him to do.

After next year Corbin might be sweating his job if he doesn't improve in a few areas.

Yup this reeks of desperation. Who knows what happens

When Corbin got the huge contact like 2 weeks after replacing Sloan was the first red flag. They don't care who the coach is. If the team doesn't win it's 100% on the players.

It is not that the fans are impatient, I think the problem the fans have is that the organization has not communicated to them much on what direction they plan on taking this team for the past several years. It has been two years of look at our new exciting young players that are the future, but wait we still have these great veterans that are taking all the young player's playing time. Heck, we are not even sure they will not resign Jefferson.

Not to mention, even if they are turning it over to the young guys next year, it then begs the question what the organization has spent the past two years doing? If the team had been turned over to the young guys two years ago, it is likely that they would have gotten the draft pick that would have given them their point guard of the the future along with having the young players being more developed by now.

While I do not think Corbin has shown yet that he is head coach material, and has deserved all the flack that he has gotten on here and in the media, at the same time I think the front office has not gotten enough of the same criticism that Corbin has received. The state of the Jazz currently is as much the front office's fault as it is Corbin's.

I've known Tyrone wasn't going to get fired from the minute we hired him.

I think there's a chance we don't re-sign him once his contract is up, but no way does he get fired.

Lol, Corbin's agent out there doing some PR work. I'm not sure whether any media report in particular prompted these tweets, but here is what he said on twitter today: (If already posted elsewhere then I apologize - please lock thread and delete)

Someone's @ahouston32 response to the Agent Kauffman:

Why don't some posters tweet back. I did (guess I will no longer be anonymous now, so what I have nothing to hide): "How many games have you watched? A church league coach who knows the Jazz personnel could do a better job."

What do these agents know about basketball anyway, probably a lot of them know less than we do.

... actually keeping Ty for 1 more year is good if we wanted to "tank" and get a decent pick in the star-studded 2014 draft.

I do not think Corbin is in trouble but he should be. Why you ask? Well stop looking at the record and look at his per game performance. He has shown repeatedly that he does not reward fantastic performances with increased roles. For examples see Kanter while Big Al and Sap where injured. Also for his inability to find the right man for the specific job. Such as placing Foye on Kobe instead or Hayward, Carroll or even Marvin. Not using, except recently, Favors in late game scenarios when you need D. That leads to the next one. Corbin does learn but at an extremely slow rate. That means he will continue to have trouble making in game adjustments from game to game.

In short I truly believe that Corbin has this roster under performing. This is a profession. Not a hobby. Under performing is not acceptable.
Or you can look at the record because it reflects everything you just said and is ultimately what matters as it is objective.

This has definitely crossed my mind. I've joked a lot about the stealth tank, but they really might be thinking about it.

Most importantly, who has THEIR OWN AGENT go into the public sphere to do this? Who's the next unbiased expert on the matter to back him, his ****ing mom? This is all quite pathetic.

Well if they did decide to tank next year - and have planned ahead by picking up Ty's option early - it would be genius.

I've always thought all along that Hornacek is who they wanted long term. By hiring Ty and making Horny assistant, he can study all of Ty's mistake - KOC's plan for bringing him along slowly.

We'll just have to see...
