There are political aspects to the coronavirus though.
Politicians are able to have an effect on the coronavirus though.

LOL. And you can’t nor shouldn’t separate it from our government’s horrible response to the outbreak. It’s crucial to understand that our federal government’s horrific response is leading to deaths and will continue to. How can’t you see how politics affects this?

it’s sort of funny to see conservatives get bent out of shape over this. Something tells me they wouldn’t be as tolerant of our federal government’s response if Hillary Clinton were president.

Put me on ignore. That is probably your best option honestly. It’ll save you a lot of frustration.

have you tried NPR or the BBC? I’ve found numerous sites to be helpful. The BBC especially has some good sources. Our own CDC hasn’t been very helpful and hasn’t been updated for 5 days.

Don't worry, I rarely read your posts. Your check in reality is a little off these days.

If course there is some level of politics to it. There is to everything.

There are many things leading to deaths in this. Many that are a higher reason than Trump. But you have one goal. Your goal clearly isn't about saving lives. That's an excuse to try and make Trump look as bad as you can. Don't worry he does that on his own. If anything to justify his followers.

Weird post. If you rarely read my posts why are you complaining about my posting? Why not just refrain from reading my posts altogether and save the complaining?

so then don’t whine when politics is discussed in these threads. You really can’t have it both ways. You can’t say that politics has an effect on things and then complain when politics are discussed. I think it’s fair to say that politics has a significant impact on this issue. So why complain when politics is a focus?

Ben Mcadams survived. It took a week in the hospital. But he survived.

However, I wonder what a week in the hospital would cost you? Someone without insurance? Does this provide the necessary momentum to finally get universal healthcare? some might find out what this costs without insurance if Republicans continue with their lawsuit to kill Obamacare? Seems like a pretty awful time to strip away the insurance from millions of Americans. is this going to save lives?

 
At the current rate there is going to be a million cases in the US alone by Easter. As of yesterday the case fatality rate in the US was around 1.75%. That's 17,500 deaths by Easter. Less than 2 weeks from now.

Huge difference between it has an effect on most things and it should be discussed in every thread always. Also with one focus, of trump in regards to politics when there are a lot lot lot lot more than just that.

I point out sports because most people don't like dragging that stuff into the sports threads even though it can be involved. Just like in this. It would be fine if it wasn't all you posted and side railed every thread you post in.

I could put you on ignore but I don't ignore anyone. Plus you post enough that it would make the thread hard to read and hard to follow what people are saying without the context. That's why I skim most posts. People like you and babe I generally read a sentence move on unless there is any substance to them.

It's hard to take someone serious when they clearly have an agenda and see everything through a specific lense. I'm sure you don't think that about yourself but your posts make that very clear. Unless it's just the persona you're trying to portray.

It's the same with the sports threads I could justify trying to talk politics in those but it gets annoying.

If it was a few posts here and there, fine. But when it's every post and fills every thread it's annoying.

I'm also pointing out that he is trying to claim a moral high ground about this issue and claim how evil Trump is. But the reality is it's obvious his goal isn't saving lives. It's trying to make Trump look bad. Which again, Trump doesn't need help with that.

It's a thread about the coronavirus with some posts about trumps (the president of the US) handing of the pandemic in the United States.

From everyone except one person, which is my point. I have no problem with you mentioning Trump related to Corona virus in this thread since you post a variety of things. You don't seem to have an agenda and don't spam every thread with one topic.

But either way. I've detracted enough and made my point so I'll stop posting about it.
 
I'm trying to stay positive. But this is looking bad. Really really bad. THE crisis of our lifetimes. So many people are going to die. Economies could be crippled for years/decades. (Praying it doesn't get to depression levels). It doesn't look like life is gonna be what it was for a long time.
 
One thing I wish there was less stink about was ventilators. Distancing/slowing spread and PPE for healthcare professionals are the big pushes for me.

People on ventilators for pnuemonia die more often than not, that's the sad truth.
