That makes sense with what health experts and not the politicians are saying in the U.S.Things are still strict here and there are very few cases.

Unbelievable
The French Central Bank estimates its country’s economy contracted by 6 percent in the first quarter, the worst plunge since 1945, for instance. But so far, workers are largely protected. Many governments have stepped in with costly programs to subsidize their wages to avoid layoffs.
The consequences have been dramatic. Prominent German economic institutes anticipate a bump in Germany’s unemployment this year ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 percentage points. The Ifo Institute for Economic Research thinks the unemployment rate in Germany will peak around 5.9 percent midyear before subsiding.
Compare that with the United States, where JPMorgan Chase estimates unemployment could hit 20 percent in the second quarter.
To those who claim “we need to get back to work...”

And they have universal health care. So few layoffs and no one is losing their health care. Compare that to us.
We certainly are “exceptional!”
He has been told this multiple other times. He is a poor listenerWhile I didn't agree with those models and think they were way over you are misunderstanding some of them. They were based on people doing nothing. People and the USA have done something, a lot of something. Had USA done nothing and acted normal they would have been higher than other countries and it would have been exponentially worse.

Fair enough. It's a comparison of apples and oranges. Largely irrelevant.
Countries with a population that is far lower than the USA, that don't have nearly as many production jobs, aren't a very good comparison in terms of labor.
It could be used as an argument for what the USA could/should change in the future, but in terms of getting back to work in the immediate future, it's a largely irrelevant argument.
It would be like you saying that your pickup needs that air dam tied up so that no further damage occurs, and me pointing out that my four wheeler doesn't have that, so you should be fine. It's just not a fair comparison.
TrueNo problem.
I usually don't when responding to Thriller because it seems rather pointless.
Effective Friday, Los Angeles residents must wear a mask, bandanna or other type of covering over their noses and mouths when in grocery stores and other essential businesses under an order from Mayor Eric Garcetti. Workers at many businesses must also cover their faces.

I've checked out for the school year. I'm so used to remote teaching that if we ever have to go back, I'll be so unmotivated. It'll be cool to see the kids though.
Why?
