As dumb as it is for us to keep our logjam at least we aren't the Kings or Suns. What the hell were they thinking?

The Maloofs save a little bit of money before the sale of the team goes through. The likely-retiring Geoff Petrie perhaps gets a bonus from the savings? The Seattle ownership group doesn't care because they're going to blow up everything at the earliest opportunity anyway.
