Could D-Will be that missing piece?

2 years from now after Trey the Turd takes his talents to Michigan, could D-Will be that missing piece to get us the title?

Imagine him as the veteran leader as the backup PG to a blooming Exum in his prime. We're gonna need at least one veteran leader and a D Will reunion could be exactly what the doctor ordered

Exum / D-Will / future draft pick or Cotton or Neto

Burks / Hood / Ingles

Hayward / future draft pick / Millsap

Favors / Booker / draft pick or Evans

Gobert / Tomic / draft pick

CHAMPIONSHIP

Dwill is not a key to winning a championship for any team. He could be a backup pg on a team that wins a championship but so could a large chunk of current pgs in the NBA.

I give you mad props for posting this, knowing you are going to get ownd for it.

All hurt feelings aside, I don't think D-will is the silver bullet that brings us a championship. I don't think he's got the drive to push his own talent enough to be the fix all.

If we are going to be overpaying somebody, we better overpay a young talent who can develop, not a washed up veteran who is broken and breaking up even more as we speak.

Also, keep in mind that for it to work we need to send back at least 14M in salaries. Who are we sending to Brooklyn so we can have the privilege of paying a broken 39% FG PG 22 million a year?

I hear a new professional dodge ball league will be starting up soon. His days as an elite NBA player are over, but Dwill would be awesome in this sport.

Only reason I would like DWill here is to be a father figure to Exum and teach him. I think that has really hurt Exum this year not having a guy like Tinsley that could be a mentor. I highly doubt DWill would be happy with that role, and don't think he is worth the huge contract at this point.

If the price was right I wouldn't be opposed to signing him. He still has the potential to have monster games. Also, he could teach Exum and Cotton.

it sucks how much he has regressed as a player. I would love for him to come back, but I doubt he plays much longer than his current contract.

No one disagrees that he is not the same player. But.. I don't know, its not good for our pride. So.. it would be nice he saying at his come back "Sorry, i made a mistake. Sorry Coach Sloan, Jazz organization". It would be a fine end of a story. D-Will was fantastic at his prime.

I love Deron. He is such an amazing talent who for some reason doesn't push hard to show most of the time. Maybe he has already given up on wearing a ring.

Deron has some sick natural skills that did not disappear with age.

Best part is, Exum can do his mentored stuff faster and with wider coverage of space.

Here is some other stuff from this year.
