pretty funny

I will be upset if Paul and Al could not score in 20s.

With Booz, some of his defensive problems are effort-related, so I anticipate him stepping up his defensive game for the sake of pretending it isn't a problem and showing up his former team. Boozer is a great player, great hands, etc. I don't hate him, I'm just glad he's gone. He's getting paid regardless.

Meant to post this before, the best super bowl commercial ever!

I knew there was a reason you liked Boozer so much, you and him both like inviting a bunch of random little kids back to your house to talk about all your "toys"...perv

Lets not forget Boozers game of Horse.
He tries to win with a dunk, but the innovative highschooler invokes a WWF rule to get some help.
This is a definite game prep video.

I will be rooting for Boozer and Brewer to have monster games. Not so for Korver. As I never cared too much for him.

Jazz by 10+

I'm trying to figure out which happens first: Boozer going off for 30-15 on Wednesday or Sloanfeld going off in his pants when Boozer is introduced.

This is Brewer's first game back in SLC right?

Traded, injured, FA to Bulls?

Yeah, another great decison by Memphis. Traded him for a protected first round pick and then let him walk in free agency. We used the pick to help get Jefferson. Funny thing is is if we did not get Bell, Brewer could have possibly been back here.

Korver will get the loudest cheer out of the 3. Brewer might get a slight clap, but most likely won't get a reaction. Boozer will get booed out of the building but he'll think people are just saying BOOOOOZ so no big deal. He might get the hint if the ESA crowd boo's him every time he touches the ball.

Anyone have the picture of Korver in the Bulls jersey pulling the elf pose? Like this one?

Also I am looking for good pictures of Boozer sitting in suits... Anyone got a favorite? These posters will be large....

Korver will get the loudest cheer out of the 3.

What the the heck did he do in his time on the floor here that was cheer-worthy in the long-run? I guess, it's what he didn't do that they'll cheer about. Which should mean they should cheer just as loudly for Brewer.

It's the racists, I tell you! The Racistsssss bllurrrr blllaaaah ahh blah!

Dude better get a standing O. I loved watching him play.. loved his enthusiasm. He's still better than Raja and Elder, weaknesses and all. In fact, he's probably a better shooter than both of them.

I'm happy to give Brewer a standing O, but lol at the rest of what you wrote.

One day left. I'm tired and beat so I don't have much. Man, I was expecting to talk a lot of trash today, get in fights with people, so I apologize for my lack of energy.

One correction though, this was actually the best Super Bowl commercial ever:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1noYVFl-Cnk

Carlos Boozer is back in Utah and not concerned about the reception that awaits from Jazz fans.

“I had great time here,” he said Tuesday. “… Some great memories.”

Boozer spent six seasons with the Jazz before signing with Chicago last summer. The Jazz play the Bulls on Wednesday night at EnergySolutions Arena, where Boozer knows he could be booed by the fans he left behind.

Surrounded by a playoff-sized media contingent after Chicago’s afternoon practice, Boozer said, “… It will be all “Booz” to me. I’m looking forward to it.”

Asked what he’d say to “Boozer haters” attending the game, he said, “Nothing. Nothing. You need them to keep you motivated. Little do they know haters motivate. Guys like me take that in stride and use that as fuel. …

“… I’m not one of those guys you can hate and expect me to be, ‘Oh, no.’ I’m not like that. I get motivated.”

Boozer average 19.3 points and 10.5 rebounds with the Jazz but missed 138 of 492 regular-season games with injuries.

Utah’s Deron Williams was asked before Tuesday morning’s practice if he stays in touch with Boozer and two other ex-teammates who play for the Bulls, Kyle Korver and Ronnie Brewer.

“I talk to Ronnie and Kyle a lot,” Williams said. “I don’t really talk to Booz. I talk to those [other] guys frequently. I’m going to dinner with them tonight.”

Who’s buying?

“We’ll figure it out when we get there,” he said.

Asked if playing against friends and former teammates is difficult, Williams replied, “If you are a competitor, it doesn’t matter. Once you get on the court, they’re on the opposite team.”

The hack from the same newspaper wrote an article too but his garbage isn't worth posting here. One of the comments is worth noting:

This is because it is like fighting with a pig in the mud....after a while you realize the pig likes it.

(same applies to lawyers too)

from the Chicago TRIB

...The returns of fan favorites Kyle Korver and Ronnie Brewer were dwarfed by the attention focused on Boozer, who smiled as he revealed his plan in case the reaction is all boos.

"It's all 'Booz' to me," he said.

Boozer spoke fondly of his tenure here, saving his highest praise for longtime coach Jerry Sloan.

"He's one of them real dudes," Boozer said. "So many people out there are fake. They say one thing to your face. They say something else behind your back. Jerry wasn't that way. Jerry told you like it is right in your face and the same thing to somebody else behind your back.

"He's a great coach, great friend. You could relate to him because he's a regular guy. Even though he's in the Hall of Fame, you wouldn't know it if you met him on the street. He doesn't want any accolades. He just wants his team to be successful. He doesn't want any notoriety. He doesn't want to be in front of cameras. He just wants to coach his team."

...........

"It's going to be a great matchup," Boozer said of Wednesday night's game. "DRose is one of the top five or six scorers in the league. DWil probably has the best vision. Both have a great desire to win, but they have two different styles."

Boozer admitted it was odd to fly here from Portland and travel to a local hotel instead of a house. Seeing former teammates as the Jazz and Bulls nearly overlapped practice time at a local facility made it odder.

"I had a great time while I was here," Boozer said. "The fans were great to me. We had great teams that competed for titles. We fell short, but great memories."

Korver hopes those times engender some positive reaction.

"Carlos had some great years here," Korver said. "He helped the team win a lot of games. When he first came here, the teams weren't very good. I hope people remember that and not little comments in the newspaper that you slip up on."

But perhaps this is telling as well: Boozer said he planned on relaxing, maybe watching a movie late Tuesday. Williams told reporters he planned to go to dinner with at least Korver and Brewer.

"I talk to Ronnie and Kyle a lot," Williams said. "I don't really talk to Booz."

Boozer's act grew tiresome, but when he actually took the court, he played his *** off. Yeah, he was slow on defense, but the guy was a beast on the boards and a reliable scorer. I'm not going to boo him. Brewer was a solid guy and a good contributor. I'll applaud him. Korver...great guy off the court. Does a lot for the community, BUT on the court, anyone who puts some who-gives-a-**** record above the team deserves to fail and I hope he gets destoyed tonight.

Should be fun. I'm looking forward to it.
