David Locke @Lockedonsports We are Carlos Boozer's Jazz jersey number days until Utah Jazz media day. Also Jeff Judkins, Billy Paultz and Armen Gilliam
Hey that is a great idea Locke had, counting down the days to media days and all.

Players returning to this years team ranked 5th on the team in
Minutes (1787) Derrick Favors
FGs (274) Derrick Favors
and fg% Derrick Favors (.482)
Also 3pt% Alec Burks .359, and Ft% Marvin Wet Bandit Williams (.778)
Hayward ranked 5th for defensive rebounds (174) and Marvin was 5th for total rebounds (263). Marvin was also tied for 4th/5th on the team in blocks (38) with Hayward.
As a side note, Gobert playing in the Euroleague blocked 50 shots last season. That would have been ranked 4th on the Jazz. Mind you that was in 612 minutes, which would have ranked 13th on the Jazz last season behind Earl Watson. NOw try to follow me here.... If Rudy blocks shots at a similar rate, and he plays about 15 minutes a night (like Kanter averaged last season) Gobert could block over 100 shots. That would be about 70 more blocked shots than Enes had last season, and about a dozen more than Jefferson blocked last season while he played more thatn 2.5 times the minutes. The Stifel Tower indeed.
Back to 5th ranks....
Hayward was 5th in personal Fouls (125) and unfortunatley Favors was #1 with 247 or a foul every 7 minutes he is on the floor. Good thing they give them 6 in the NBA.

Favors was ranked 5th for total points (727), which is also exactly how many points Trey Burke scored last season on his way to ranking 5th in the NCAAs last season for field goal attempts.

FYI Hayward scored the most points last season of all the returning players (1017) which is more points than John Lucas, pg mentor extraordinaire has scored in his entire NBA career (888).
