That's from the late 80's, but it would've been on the radio still when I was a little older probably, would explain why my searching through the 90's charts yielded little fruit and it fits what I'm describing. It's been so long that I can say for sure or not though. It's a good song though if it's not.

Know that song real well.. not what I would have thought you were describing.

I don't like the part where it goes, "chew tobacco, chew tobacco, chew tobacco, spit"..... but like it otherwise.

PKM, why do all the songs posted by you have people that kind of look like you singing in them? Just like I correctly identified your half brother that married your adopted daughter in your family photo, I'm sensing something deeper at play here.

sense on.. sense away... I think you're on to something. Please let me know when you find it so I can stop trying to self psycho-analyze myself.

Move the soul.. wtf?

This ain't church, frank.

Inspire the body. Get the booty shaking. Move your emotional meter to a state of wanting to fight or make love.

I tried to recall country songs of the last ten years and the only two I could recollect were Honkytonk Badunkadunk and Carry Underwood's Before He Cheats. The latter could be called a pretty damn good song. The former was remembered only as a symbol of stupidity.

Country music has been very bland and manufactured the last ten years.

County died with Johnny Cash. New stuff is bad pop with a steel guitar and a fake twang in the voice

Lmao this song is brutal. We had to analyze the music video in music class. I remember thinking then and there: "pkmoe probably listens to this ****". No joke.

Going hunting and probly won't listen to any country music, drink any beer, or drink any whiskey the whole time I'm there.

Sounds like you're not goin huntin then

I've gotten more into country since meeting my wife. Before that I hated it. However, circa 1995 I was sitting in the waiting area to get a haircut and a country song came on that I actually liked. If anyone knows what it is I'm willing to put $20 on it.
