They were the 1 seed and drafted Tatum with the Nets pick.Celtics (via Ainge) cleared the house and tanked to grab Tatum. Do they not have a winning culture?

Yeah but the year they traded the big three they also won 25 games.Celtic won 53 games the season before they grabbed Tatum. They let the Nets do their tanking for them.
Which is the same path we’re on with the Cavs and Twolves pick, no?They were the 1 seed and drafted Tatum with the Nets pick.
You said they tanked to grab Tatum.W

Well they got bad and got the picks that led to Tatum. Whatever. You said they tanked to grab
They do, but not because of players they acquired via tanking.Point is Both Celtics and GSW were winning 20 something games before they are this good. Do they not have a winning culture now?
How did GSW get Curry? They do, but not because of players they acquired via tanking.
By finishing 10th in the West and drafting him in the following offseason.W

Yeah and 10th is a good record?By finishing 10th in the West and drafting him in the following offseason.
It's not tanking.U
Yeah and 10th is a good record?
What IS tanking? To me it’s being bad for a few years to reload. It’s wide. It doesn’t mean you have to be the WoRst team. It's not tanking.
Yeah that's different than tanking I think. Making moves for the purpose of rebuilding/reloading is fine. If you win fewer games as a result and get a better pick, that's an added bonus but it's not the purpose of those moves. What IS tanking? To me it’s being bad for a few years to reload. It’s wide. Making moves just for the purpose of losing games is tanking. Sitting good players out for no reason other than to lose is tanking.
Ok so In reverse what is winning couture? To me it is playing the best players you have and trying to complete. As long as the Jazz are playing hard and competitive that is what is important. Tanking is when you have better players sitting on the bench and you just roll the ball out with young guys and don’t care about the outcome. At least that’s the difference in my mind. What IS tanking? To me it’s being bad for a few years to reload. It’s wide. It doesn’t mean you have to be the WoRst team.
Meh.To me Tanking is a PROCESS that starts with the GM trading away all your best talent and decides that the team will be bad for a while to accumulate new talent via you being bad & the picks that you get later down the line.
That isn't tanking at all. He got a ****load of young players and other teams picks. So Ainge traded Gobert and Mitchell before the season starts - and according to you that's not tanking.
