And I'd probably start Allen.

Bamba would get absolutely worked physically by Adams in any game, at any point in his rookie year.

Mo Bamba starting is stupid. Like all rookies, he might end up good this year but it's unlikely he will help his team win most of this season. Even if he puts up good stats.

But if I count Nikola as the starter Gas is better. Ellis has no good shooters starting. Rubio is your best shooter. DeRozan, favors and Adams are non threats from 3. Maybe one of them picks up that skill but I wouldn't count on it. Butler shot 35% from 3 last year.

Ellis could have went with someone other than Whiteside, Fave could play the back-up 5 while Prince plays the 4 and Ellis would have much more versatility.

I don't like the teams drafted in this tourney, last years they seemed better.

And yet you voted against my team and in favor of acteam with even less three point shooting then Ellis’s team here, but carry on.

No, I did not. Lillard and Ingles are elite three point shooters. No one on this Ellis team is an elite shooter or close to those two.

Your team was worse and you lost, stop making up excuses and move on. His team was better at 4 of the 5 starting positions, it wasn't really close and the voting accurately reflected that.

No it wasn’t. You idiot!! He had me beat at pg, and that’s it. I have one of the deepest teams in this. I have more offense and defense more 3 shooting and my players fit better, and my bench is ten times better.

Westbrook>Rozier
Mitchell=Oladipo
Roberson<PG
Millsap<Gordon
Jonas=Turner

I’m not sure how anyone can think his team outclasses mine.

Think the talent is spread out more now.

Well I was talking about your matchup with Ellis last round.

But still against Siro you were only better at the SF spot. Maybe Gordon improves and passes up Millsap next year but that's a big maybe.

Obviously most people agree with me that's why the voting wasn't close.

You can keep crying and throwing a tantrum but it won't help you win or suddenly not have a crappy team.

Better luck next year. Maybe try not being an idiot when you draft next year?

When I voted the score was 5-1 in favor of Ellis. I was really surprised.

Well, who would start in real life would be more of a competition I guess. Allen and Bamba are both pretty raw. Vucevic makes more sense being he is a vet. But I really want some top quality rim protection. Allen and Bamba have so much length that even being young they will be able to protect the rim more than Vucevic.

I just get the feeling Bamba is going to be really good. His offensive looks pretty dang good for his size. He could be Rudy with an offensive game. He is a lot more fluid and can actually shoot the ball.

He probably will be really good, just not next year as a rookie. His rotations on defense will probably suck, he will be over thinking everything and his reactions will be slower because of it. The speed of the game will overwhelm him at times.

1 or less lottery players actually help their team win every year as a rookie. Maybe he will be the one but chances are greatly against it. He might even put up good stats on a crappy team but that doesn't mean he has learned to make winning plays consistently.

That's why drafting them is a high risk move in these things. Maybe they end up good and help you in next year's voting, who knows .

This was the first round, idiot!! I only went against Siro. I wasn’t throwing a tantrum, but stating fact. There are already posters that admitted they didn’t vote for me because my team was worse but that they didn’t like me. It’s a proven fact. And Gordon is better then Millsap

This is another difficult one.

I'm gonna assume either Vucevic or Allen starts at the center for Gas, Mo just isn't ready. I've got Mo as my 'rookie homer pick' this year, so I know what I'm talking about. But if you want instant offense in the post just drop the ball to Vucevic, he'll get it done for you. Even with Adams there I think he'll still get something. Either that or Allen who played really well at the end of last year. I know cos I had him in my fantasy team and watched him grow. Adams isn't all that offensively, so I think Allen could match up pretty well defensively there. So I'm gonna assume the center position is a wash.

Curry vs Rubio. Rubio was really good at the end of last year, but Curry is GREAT and his long range 'bombs' when connected could negate some of Rubio's one-on-one effectiveness. I still think Curry is crafty enough to get his in this match up. Defensively Curry is pretty average, but without any 3pt shooters for Rubio to pass to I think Curry will do fine here. Curry with an edge for sure.

Holiday vs DeRozan. Interesting match up. DeRozan shrunk in the playoffs last year like every other year when his mid range wasn't going in. Meanwhile Holiday showed he could step it up and play big along side Rondo. I think it's is a close one. I think they'd probably ended up cancelling each other out here.

Tatum vs Butler. Heart says Tatum, but head says Butler. Butler is still better right now, he'll give you 21/5/5 any day of the week and defensively he'll be effective yet again even against the talent of Tatum. But Tatum has the 3pt shooting edge. Still, it's Butler with an edge here.

Kuzma vs Favors. Really hard one. Kuzma obviously the more versatile with the 3pt shooting and Favors with the solid defense and rebounding. I really think Kuzma could make a quantum leap next season playing along side LeBron. Learning from him, getting good shots from LeBron's passing. He has all the tools. LeBron had already said that he really like Lakers young guys and Kuzma has to be at the top of that list. I think it's another tie here.

Bench: Neither here nor there, I'm gonna call it an even match on the bench.

Overall: Ellis team is full of attack the basket/mid range, iso players, I really think Rubio is wasted on this team because DeRozan and Butler are gonna hold the ball A LOT. And if Rubio isn't gonna be handling the ball not sure how effective he is as a spot up shooter. Like Cy said, Ellis has a very talented team that doesn't seem to fit all that well together.

I'm sure most voters will go with Ellis though with Rubio, DeRozan, Butler, Favors.. 2 Jazz players flanked by 2 legit All Stars, but I really like the Curry/Holiday combo. And factoring in Kuzma and Tatum's improvement next year I think there's enough inside/outside scoring to keep things interesting.

Gas for me.

I was talking about the last set of voting obviously. Keep up and you are still currently throwing a little fit.

People were giving you a hard time when they said that and making fun of you because you keep saying that. I know you struggle with understanding when people are mocking you so I guess I am glad I can help you out with that.

Everyone votes for which team they like more, it has nothing to do with the person who drafted them.

And no Gordon is not better than Millsap yet. You are predicting he will next year and thats fine. I dont think he will pass him up yet. Gordon has not learned to play winning basketball yet. Even in an injured year Millsap was better this year at almost every facet of the game.

Of course Im losing to a team with 1 three point shooter in the starting lineup.
I would’ve voted for you had you bothered to do a writeup. Hell, I’ll say it Ellis269’s writeup was lazy as hell, but he still bothered to do something. To me this is a competition and if you want to win you don’t sit on your hands. You did that, so you lose. You want my vote, then you do the damned writeup. I look forward to reading every writeup and how you see your team. My vote is based off your writeup, I also don’t do some of the bs and ignore benches. It’s hard to win consistently without a decent bench in real life.

Sorry gas, I wanted to vote for you but u dropped the ball. So sad:(
