I thought we had a log jam at that position, why would we want to sign someone now that it has cleared up a little bit? Only a little bit because C.J. will probably get more time and I will become that much closer to killing myself.

This guy deserves a second (or third, or fourth) chance:

Maybe I just caught him on good nights, but every time I've seen Jamario Moon play, he lights it up and jumps out of the gym.

We've already got Hayward, Burks, Bell, Evans, Millsap, Carrol, Harris, Miles all looking for more minutes.

I'd like Evans to get a lot more minutes at SF, and more minutes for Burks too, which means CJ sharing minutes at SF too, that is plenty.

If there is some raw talent with great potential, sure, but there is already a shortage of minutes to get experience for the talent on the team now.

The man has spoken

KOC Jazz General Manager Kevin O'Connor said Tuesday the team is unlikely to add a player who's bought out or waived before the 2011-12 regular season ends.

Utah (23-22) has 14 players on its roster and can add one more before it would have to cut someone.

With little practice time during a lockout-shortened season and reserve forward DeMarre Carroll having only played three minutes since being signed Feb. 8, O'Connor is hesitant to sign anyone else.

"We already have trouble getting time for Jamaal [Tinsley] and DeMarre and they've put in the work," O'Connor said.
