Cut and Run Dems

You obviously don't read many of my posts do you? In this instance I happen to agree with him. If you thought for yourself you would realize that people can have wildy differing viewpoints on a variety of issues. It is possible to agree with someone on one issue then disagree with them on another issue later, and vice versa. I have disagreed with Trout plenty. This time I happen to agree with him. Whoopty-doo.

Author F. Scott Fitzgerald once said, "The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function."

Milsapa getting owned hard!

Well, it is no coincidence that the time you agree with him, you are wrong.

I could have sworn it was your theory that if you agree with another person at any point then they are doing your thinking for you.

Lead? I think not. The Dems are just following in the Frogs' footsteps.

Whatever. The Frogs just left their party. They didn't leave their states. Once again, I maintain the Dems are leading the way.

Imagine a country with no frogs
It isn't hard to do
No peepholes to blow us above it's only poo
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no D-bags, and no R-bags woo
No need to kill or die for and no religious war too
Imagine all the people
Living life for a piece

woohoo-oo-oo

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as if we won

Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can
No need for food or money a brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Tearing up the world

woohoo-oo-oo

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as if we won

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
Make a sandwhich and join us
And the world will live as if we won

Yet again you have a need to engage your brain. If you notice, when I put out there that people need to think for themselves, it is in response to blanket statements that almost always take the form of "politician (or pundit) X of party Z is an evil moron liar and only policitian (or pundit) A from party B ever did and ever can have the right viewpoint...oh yeah and party X is the root of all evil and party B is the pure blessing from God and all that is good and holy in the world". If people insist on blanket statements that their side of the political debate is always right and the other side is always wrong then I have to point out that they need to think for themselves because that is patently false and ludicrous and truly the sign of a gullible and puerile mind.

As is usually the case, context matters, but is oh so often purposefully or ignorantly desregarded.

The major problem that everyone seems to be forgetting is that I am NEVER wrong. Seriously. Take away this years BYU/Utah game, I'm pretty much the safe bet.

Like the typical holier-than-thou fence-sitter you usually "put out" your theory in the middle of principled debates, as though not settling on your own philosophical principles is the only way to engage your brain. This stance usually just means you stick your finger in the air to determine which way the wind blows in any given context, and you can aloofly stand above the fray and criticize everyone else to your waffling heart's content.

Yeah! And while you're turning your brain off, don't forget to claim sole responsibility to correct interpretations of the constitution, bible, Sanskrit texts, and true meanings of obscure objects on Mars.

Brilliant take on things:

Now the Indiana Democrats have run to Illinois to hide as well. Isn't it fitting that all these Dems, who make legislative careers out of shilling for the public employee unions at the expense of average, private taxpayers, are all running to hide in Illinois --- home of our President, another blatant shill for unions, as well as home of the worst unfunded liability problems relative to population in the entire United States. So Illinois is now holding a veritable convention of crooks and morons.

Utah, the fiscally fittest state, has debt of just $442 and unfunded pension obligations of $7,272 per resident. It is also America's second reddest state with a 21-percentage-point Republican advantage in party affiliation. The Beehive state boasts a triple-A credit rating from Moody's.

Note: This article is about one year old, but Illinois and California are still in dire straights.
