OK what is going on. Neither of the DLeague guys have seen a minute of PT. Ahearn last year played in 4 regular season games and 3 playoff games. It seems like this has been a total waste of $$$ on the Jazz part. They should have saved the money and let Roger finish the year inactive.

Well, in the words of Flava Flave, You gotta spend money to make money, bra.

One of these guys could have been the second coming of Rusty Larue or Yatta Gaines. We will never know if it would have pushed the Jazz over the top in the two games they lost in the last 11.

We're trying to win. If they're not good enough, then they don't get to play.

They can help out in practice though.

You really worried about the Jazz spending 25k on some scrub to come practice with them?

It's a conspiracy. There's some mad butt raping going on in the Jazz organization and they don't want us to know about it. They cover it up by giving news of signing a D-League star to a filled position and expect us to chat about it at the water-coolers the next day in lieu of said butt raping.

EDIT- Am I going to get banned for saying that?

Haven't you heard of a tryout?
Jazz are likely shopping for bench depth as I doubt either Tinsley or Watson will be back.
Ahearn was terrible. You really wanted to see him get MORE time?

I'm sure we are corrrect in the idea they are just looking at players right now .... after they waived Raja Jazz had an empty roster spot so I guess they figure this is good use of it ... Spurs created one by waiving Jackson

This. We are have a lot of roster spots to fill next season.

If that's the case, we aren't going to win the championship and why not give these guys a run to see how they perform. Right now they couldn't be worse than Marvin, Watson or Tinsley.

The Sixers signed a DLeague two guard for the last nine games named Justin Holliday and he's Jrue's brother. Anyway he got roughly 15 minutes a game and averaged about 4.7 points per game on a team that was horrible and was not going to the playoffs. To put that scoring average in perspective that is slightly behind Carroll and surpasses Tinsley, Watson, Jeremy and Murph. We'll never know but perhaps Leslie or the Marquette dude could have really infused some life into these glue factory nags known as the Jazz.
