Not true the way stated. When you get very old, your color perception often starts to diminish. Not "as you age", which make it sound like 20 year olds have better color perception than 25 year olds.

Mostly likely will be Bounce not Boost, since they are more a budget shoe.
But does that mean Donovan will be wearing an inferior product in games? Do you think it's fair he can't use the best equipment available when going toe to toe with Harden?
Bounce isnt inferior to boost, it's just different.
But Boost is in all their top and most expensive shoes, while Bounce is cheaper, no? Why should Donovan be subjected to cheaper products?
1. Basketball shoes are completely subjective. Higher price doesnt always equal better shoe. I know plenty of people who prefer the Dame line to anything else Adidas does primarily because they prefer bounce to boost. (if you want proof of this, Thabo plays in Air Maxes. Everyone's preferences are different)
2. I'm guessing it cost more because it's more expensive to produce
3. Mitchell is a 2nd year player in a small market. Adidas and Mitchell will have a long relationship. It's best to build his brand as accessible and affordable, then slowly raise prices as the consumers grow with Mitchell. This is the standard practice for most signature lines. You want to build a brand that will grow with young people.
Yeah but as a Jazz supporter I don't care about that, I care about his performance on court. If his performance suffers because he has to wear an inferior product because Adidas feels the need to have a 'cheaper' line for their lower market then as a Jazz supporters we all suffer from that.
They are designing a shoe for him. He's going to be comfortable in it. That's all that matters at the end of the day.
Like I said, Thabo wears Air Maxes out there. Gobert wears some mid-priced Nike model. It's not like everyone who isnt a signature athlete is just wearing the most expensive model from their endorsed brand. If that were the case, nearly everyone would be wearing the same shoe.
Does Gobert have the ball in his hand with 5 seconds left on the clock, having to dribble around Paul George, drive to the basket and acrobatically jump up for a game tying layup?
A good pair of shoes is worth infinitely more to a Mitchell than a Gobert, or a Thabo who plays 5 minutes off the bench.
None of that makes sense. Shoes are equally important to any basketball player.
Thabo can wear a New Balance and be as effective playing 5 minutes a game.

My original point was I'd rather Donovan play with the best basketball shoe possible, so that he could perform at his optimum, not a cheaper alternative.
