D.O.N Issue #1

But Boost is in all their top and most expensive shoes, while Bounce is cheaper, no? Why should Donovan be subjected to cheaper products?
What the **** is bounce and boost? What does each do to the shoe? What are the pros and cons to each?

Boost are incredibly comfortable shoes. I got two pairs of "pure boost" tennis shoes on cyber Monday. I love them. "Ultra Boost" are a step up in terms of cost.

If the DON 1 is Ultra Boost, it would be awesome. Not sure how that stays under $100 though.

What about the boost feature makes them comfortable?
Could they be just as comfortable without boost? (Whatever that is)

The boost is the cushion in the sole. Most comfortable shoes I have ever had and its not close. And it's supported comfort not just "add another foam insert" type comfort.

Sounds wonderful. Thanks for the response.

Every mid-sole encases some kind of propriety blend of a rubber compound. It's all about density of that compound and how it's caged in the mid-sole (how much room it's given to expand/compress). Some people like a squishier trampoline feel, some people like feeling low to the ground with quicker response time.

Makes sense

ben simmons 100% salty during yesterday's game because Don has a big-brand sneaker and he never will.

pissed that I bought PG1 sneakers last year cuz otherwise i'd 100% buy these.

Maybe i'll make those my outdoor court shoes and these my indoor ones

It's quite entertaining watching people who know nothing about basketball shoes argue over basketball shoes. I'll just say this...I will not be getting these shoes. I have too many basketball shoes as it is anyways, lol. And I was really looking forward to getting a pair of them before they came out with the actual shoe too.

Anyone else see Donovan's initials and 45 in the spider logo or am I seeing things? I think the 4 is probably a stretch. Anyone know what the squiggly red line under the logo is supposed to represent?
