How so? For not signing an extension on a team that could go nowhere without him carrying them every single night (and that is simply not who he is, ever was, what he'd like to do, or what his position asks of him)? For taking offense to a bunch of fans having the gall to boo him?

Let me tell you a thing about 'fans' critiquing your work or who you are as a person, despite actually knowing jack ****; most people don't appreciate it.
 
Wherever he goes, I hope DW signs a 10 year, no trade contract so we don't have to be inundated with these dumbass threads any more.

Deron was a mediocre defensive player (at best) whose shooting percentage went down four straight years yet his demeanor, which was very visible to anyone watching the game, came across as a whiny bitch who thought his **** didn't stink. I have no problem with a player getting in someone's face, and so forth, but he just rubbed me the wrong way. He acted like he was perfect and that everyone else had to raise their standard to his. Well, he wasn't perfect. And I call BS on his supposed 8% body fat or whatever was rumored years ago. He looks soft as **** to me. Maybe I'm just sensitive.
 
I thought he was booed because he ran Jerry Sloan out of here, not to mention he was playing like crap the last 6 weeks or so he was a Jazz man. He didn't leave on a high note by any means. If he and the team were playing well and the Jazz just decided to move him for something better that's one thing, but, that's not how it went down. Deron had one foot out the door or else the Jazz never would have traded him.

I think the boos were justified. That being said, I'd welcome him back with open arms with all forgiven if he wanted to come back.

I wonder if he was a bit over-rated anyway. He didn't impress me much when we played NJ last game I saw.

This is so funny because I find myself agreeing with posts of Numberica, Freakazoid, and Mantooth. But yet, somehow these are the same people I get a rise out of the most. Its like they seen mirror and and freaked out.

And that post about Sloan was sarcasm, so don't get too excited about the smart people agreeing with you. Accidents happen.
 
Those who booed are just the weird, butt hurt, mostly BYU fans. They take everything personally and take every opportunity to shirk the blame. Cept Trout, he's just a huge DWill fan. Broke his darn heart.
 
I knew it wouldnt take long for someone to actually blame Al for Dwill being a whiney bitch. Surprised Harpring wasnt thrown out there also for old times sake.
Of course the ones who always hated Sloan can call him a quitter because he got sick of the whiney bitch and wasnt being backed by FO, but DWill quit the last 6 weeks he was here but is a victim and a God still. Judging is so much easier when you can change the rules as you go, nice.
 
I look for any opportunity to Boo at sporting events because it is fun and funny. Those who get butt hurt are too sensitive and need to get over it. If you cant take being booed or having your player booed you suck at life and are boring.

On that same note, Numberica wears cut-off skinny jean/shorts. His opinion is invalid, regardless of his complete lack of basketball IQ. But ya, DuhRon was totally a stud. Was a great teammate. Great motivator. Great locker room leader. Great guy, all around.

Dont worry guys... D will is coming back in a couple years as an old washed up vet, raja/Watson style and corbin will absolutely love him.

I was a fan critical of those booing him. But let's not pretend it wasn't a soap opera at the end. Or are these reports about Sloan and him exaggerated? Not saying he made Sloan quit. Just saying he was a huge factor in the decision to quit. Overall, I hope he gets what he wants and I am glad we got what we ended up with.
