Cooley to our D-League team? I think he'll wind up playing NBA games somewhere this season. In reality, all these guys on the chopping block/fringe are not going to be expected to be impact players at all.

We're a solid 11-12 deep this year!

Glad Jones was the one who got cut. Watching the Clippers game was painful - he didn't do much right. Cooley was cool but I figured there would only be space for him or Motum and not both.

I'm curious about Qunicy Miller, whom Denver cut. I think he's a rotation player unless there's some hidden concern.

The concern is that he can't play SF and is too skinny to play PF.

Call me an idoit but from the very little I've seen of him in pre he looked like more than a solid 3rd.

I think he was cut b/c we have several ball handlers outside the 1, not because he wasn't useful.

Well I don't even know about that. He's a gamble, he probably is a fringe player for a few years and then is out. BUT, getting him would be a high upside/low downside move from what I can see. I'd go for it.

He was the 1st name on my mind too. Maybe he was trying to become a vet leader of the bench, maybe he was naturally acting that way, but he was really cheerful all the time. I liked that. But his ingame addition was not enough for the level of basketball we have seen from the roster so far.

Apparently Snyder was not like Corbin and he didn't keep Danthay to be a veteran bench leader.

I just love everything about Snyder so far.

If I'm understanding things right, apparently Quincy Miller hasn't actually been cut yet. Nuggs be looking to see if they can get anything out of him in a trade before they have to get the roster down to 15.
