What's new

Dang another trade thread (good idea though)

The only reason I don't like the Jefferson for Anderson/Redick trade proposal is that Anderson would take minutes away from Favors/Kanter. I think the best trade for getting rid of Jefferson would be to pickup a guard who can create his own shot (Ellis). That's Utah's biggest need right now. If it takes giving Golden State a pick or two I'm all for it.

You would turn down two assets for a net negative? Jazz could trade Anderson to any team in the league if he would be such a big problem.
Anderson would spread the floor and open up room for Kanter and Favors to learn in the post anyway.

You do have a pretty valid point. At this point, I think I'd do the trade. Utah's three-point shooting has been abysmal this year. But if I had to choose between the Jefferson/Ellis trade and the Jefferson/Magic trade I'd have to go with getting Ellis. I don't think the Anderson/Redick trade is very realistic either. They've already got Dwight Howard and Glen Davis and I don't know see them giving up Anderson after the improvement he has shown this year. I'd do the trade, though.
