Dante’s Night Rises — TJ Warren & Suns @ Utah 3/15/2018 7:00 pm MST

Also such bull **** from Dudley and chriss. The hell were they pissed about... no one touched Chriss he just had the worst dunk attempt ever. He is one of the dumbest players I’ve ever seen.

Phoenix needs a development staff overhaul or a scouting team change cuz chriss and bender are trash. I don’t think Len has gotten any better in 4 years.

Alex Len is trash. He barely got off the ground when Derrick dunked on his head from a standing start

The Sun's coach is complaining that Mitchell and Ingles weren't ejected. Wow.

And Booker is also a little ****. They're one of the least likable teams in the NBA.

I can't even figure out why they got technicals.

I’m willing to bet that part of Joe’s was because he was running his mouth. Freaking love that guy. When he went running in there, my initial thought was that he was going to strait up DROP Marquese Chriss before the Suns coach dangerously tried to grab him as he ran by. Donovan went strait at Chriss too. If anything, they should have ejected their coach as well. He was right in the middle of it grabbing Jazz players instead of just dealing with his own cheap *** team.

I thought this as well. Still has some awkward finishes but he took contact really well on a couple of those drives and was able to bully his way to the rim on the smaller guards. He looked rusty with his ball-handling and a little bit slow which is probably just trying to process an NBAa game at speed. Overall a pretty good effort, and encouraging. Dude hasn't had a practice with the actual team if I remember correctly so he'll get more comfortable the more he plays.

Slow? I'm assuming you mean with his decision-making and positioning. Cause he looked like the fastest guy on court in terms of quick step and leg speed.

I loved the angle where Donovan is on the other side of the court and comes sprinting in from behind to get right in the middle of it, plus getting into it with WTF their coach is.

Also really stupid about the coach complaining of Joe and Donovan not being tossed. Guy misses dunk (totally clean) and they retaliate by having two guys go at Rubio?

Yeah just a little slow in decision making. On a couple drives he didn't handle the ball great and so didn't beat his man as quickly as I think he will when he's all the way back. The cool thing was that on a couple of those drives he was able to use that nice spin move or just body the guy out of the way and have a relatively uncontested finish regardless. He covers so much ground so effortlessly. It's pretty amazing how many quality looks he generates at the rim. If I was the coach I'd work toward constantly putting him in PnR in the second unit. Get him running off those curl handoffs they love to run as well.

Not going to lie. . . I wish one of them would have come at Crowder. They seem dumb enough to do it. Donovan isn’t afraid to mix **** up. He’s also the one in the middle when Quin lit up and got ejected. Hell yeah.

Plus, he came onto the court and grabbed Jingles as he was running by. Thankfully Joe was just holding Chriss back from making any more bad decisions instead of strait up dropping his *** live on TV. . . but a coach should not be grabbing an opposing player like that.

I think Dudley's foul was a little harder than he intended, but what the **** was Chriss doing? That's like the ultimate Shaqtin' a Fool clip right there... missing a wide open dunk and then throwing a little bitchfit about it. What a tool.

Also, that coach should be suspended a game or two for that ****.

He was a security guard for the Suns I think.
Nevermind - it was definitely Triano who came onto the court and grabbed Joe as he was running towards Chriss. He also grabbed Jae Crowder by the left hand and tried pulling him back, and he was pulling Mitchell away when he was yelling at Chriss at the end. He doesn’t belong on the court grabbing Jazz players immediately after two hard fouls and cheap shots by Suns players. I don’t know if the NBA will do anything, but they should.

I'm a little late with this but I've been doing it after every game in the game threads and I have to keep it going for positive mojo purposes.

21-4 since Rudy Gobert returned from injury
Winners of 20 of our last 22
11 straight road wins
8 straight wins overall
It's great to have Dante back

Great run and it's not over yet :D

Looking forward to JazzAvenues thread tonight.

Jazz were sleepwalking through the first, but it felt like the Suns woke the Giant. Hopefully this will inject a little energy in them. They seem a little tired.

ESPN said:
"I could understand why Marquese got ejected. That's the only one though," Phoenix coach Jay Triano said. "If you're going to eject anybody else, Ingles ran in to instigate as much as anybody else did. And Mitchell. They were in there escalating rather than diffusing more than anybody. I don't think there was a foul enough to warrant a flagrant 2."

PHX coach endorses dirty play by claiming only Chriss deserved an ejection. Claims Dudley's foul was clean. Really?? Slamming a guy to the floor and strutting towards him is okay? That's not "instigation"?

Also, wasn't he the one that tried to tackle Ingles? So he makes contact with an opposition player, that's "diffusing", but Ingles' harsh words were "escalation". Hmmmm.

Just finished watching the game. I'm perplexed as to why Dudley would go after Rubio like that. Only thing I can think is that he thought Chriss went down due to contact and decided to retaliate on whoever had the ball which happened to be Rubio, because Rubio was no where near that play. That brings me to Chriss, what a ****ing idiot!! He falls over himself trying to dunk the ball, he knows the jazz did nothing wrong, and blindsides Rubio... why? He's got to be the dumbest player in the NBA. He made my IDIOTS LIST today!!

Gobert did foul him. His body clipped the back of Chriss's legs. Chriss is a lot of things, including terrible at basketball, but he can jump and dunk the ball.
