Dante Exum Averages .2 Steals Per Game

It’s tough, to say that he’s NEVER had the chance is a little overstated. He has started in 67 games and played 3500 minutes already in thus league. He’s started for nearly a whole season’s worth of games. The problem is that he was not very good in that role, averaging 5/2/2 on 33%/32%/67%. He curled into the fetal position and did nothing when handed the reigns the first time. Maybe quin is scarred from that now.

But Dante is much more aggressive than he used to be.

As a Dante homer I wish I could say that Dante should start but without a better shooting % he's probably not going to be any better than Ricky-better on D but probably worse at drawing attention and setting up teammates. One thing in Dante's favor is that he does a decent job of taking care of the ball.

So it's a tough call but at some point you've gotta make a change, right?

Lmao sure he a post injury Livingston. As someone who watched Livingston in high school he was the real deal. HeHe had high BBall iq and is six foot 7 so I want to see who thinks those two are alike? Exum has a very low bball iq and Shaun a very high one. This is lazy af work comparing those 2. Exum just another international man of mystery who bombed. Plain and simple.

And every time people talk about R J Barrett and what he has done in international play I point to Rubio. He was supposed to be the second coming but he a serviceable starter but not a star. See same things with Barrett.

Exactly! HE didnt nearly have as horrific of an injury as Livingston. Livingston ALSO played pretty well BEFORE that knee explosion. When has Dante shown that he can consistently use his potential?

Yikes. Sore spot.

Pre injury Shaun was destined to be a star. The fact he has become serviceable after all that shows how great he could of been. He was viewed as the next Penny. Exum was viewed as the next Kobe by some here.lol. Exum on the outside of Aussie and Utah bball circle was viewed as a big gambl with potential down the road. These 2 players are nothing alike

Cause he was a baby back then. He wasn't allowed to do anything!!!!!! besides stand in the corner. I think we have all worked he's better with the ball then standing in the corner waiting for a shot. Ustil haven't worked that out!!!!!

He does nothing with the ball. Offense with him is deferring to whoever and going to the corner. He needs to start taking risks.

I'm over Rubio starting. He's slow, boring. I'm going to fall asleep

I love the way Rubio plays, he's a blast to watch fly around the court. Don't forget how good he was last spring. Not saying we shouldn't eventually give Exum a shot though.

That’s harsh.

I find it funny how many people have so many problems with Dante. He only plays like 10 mins a game. It's time to blame the players that are playing like 30 plus minutes. We're losing cause those players are playing s###.....
