Dante Exum Averages .2 Steals Per Game

Exum just doesnt understand how to play basketball. He only understands it 1on1 situations. Can D up a single player or try and score on a guy. Cannot read and react to situations or play with any awareness or instinct.

The only way u learn is when u play. He doesn't play enough to get a chance to learn. I don't disagree with u on some points. why don't we just play him 30 mins. Sure he'll make mistakes that's only way he'll learn. We playing Rubio over 30mins a night and we still lose all the time. So even if we lose by playing Dante it's no different to playing Rubio

I think he has a decent basketball IQ but he simply offers no threat to score so teams can just sag off and take him out of the offense. When the defense can sag that allows teams to clog up the other 4 players. Same with Rubio.

this is right. his ceiling shaun livingston. different kind of player, but about that good, that impactful. a good rotation wing who can help a really good team. but yeah, only the delusional would think he can be a star, at this point.

He has good one-on-one IQ, good moves, footwork, and drive and dish game, but does not understand the game beyond this. He is worthless when the ball is not in his hands and is worthless when the guy he is defending is not involved in the play. He cannot see things a step ahead, see plays develop, make reads and react accordingly. He has good scoring instincts but no scoring skills. He has a good feel in the post for a guard imo, but he’s relatively weak as hell, can’t shoot, and would never get much space to operate there on this team anyhow.
Rubio understands the game much better, is better, and plays more as a result.

So are all these troll accounts operated by a select few a business strategy?
 
All I'm saying is we're losing with Rubio. So we may as well try Dante right? And give him a chance. He can't shoot I agree. He needs to improve massively. Look he has these God given talents. Why doesn't quin just say go out and play. Rubio is what he is he'll never get better. At least with exum and Mitchell in the backcourt it will be an insanely athletic backcourt.
 
I said this before. If we want to make Mitchell a PG, he's like an instant DWill/Baron Davis-caliber player there. He'd have to change his game, but he has the ability to do it.

Exum and Favors for Siakam and bad contract. God I’d love to have him.

Exum is that kid who kills it in training but come game day just doesnt deliver for whatever reason.

My main concern is that he wanted to re-sign here, I dont think the game style suits him and the coach benches him for sneezing. By resigning for more than he could get elsewhere it worries me that he doesnt believe in himself.

Feom the outside looking in I would have said thanks and see ya later Quin, we just aren't a good fit.

I agree. If we are going to lose either way then i would rather lose with the younger guy on the longer contract.
