What's new

Dante has been out forever because he ded

Dennis Lindsey is a moron for that contract he gave Exum. He was obviously bidding against himself per what other free-agents were signing for. Exum got more money/years than guys like Julius Randle, Joe Harris, Nemanja Bjelica, Fred Van Vleet, Jerami Grant, Tyreke Evans, etc.

Don’t agree with everything here but there is some truth... not sure why we offered so much so fast when he’s restricted. Feels like we coulda squeezed him a bit... lots of guys were available that could help that went for kinda cheap.

Dante needs to finish the season healthy. I think they are just being extra cautious since AS weekend gives a couple extra weeks.

Jazz have announced that Exum will be out until after the all star break. Also, Sefelosha and Neto will be reevaluated in one week.

Wow, that sucks big time. Puts him at 6 more games missed and another 3 weeks+ before he plays again. And ****!, he's gonna be mouth-breathing again for sure!

Who was it that suggested that maybe Exum was being held out longer than anticipated because they want to trade him? It's seeming like more and more of a possibility with the Memphis/potentially NOLA selling news

With common ankle sprains “low ankle sprains” the ligaments that are most often injured are the ones on the outside of the ankle. These help to connect the fibula to the foot. These ligaments are injured when someone “rolls” their ankle over. Generally, recovery occurs over a period of 4 to 6 weeks. Most of us have sprained our ankle in this manner and as the swelling goes away, so does the pain. This isn’t to say that these ankle sprains aren’t serious, but in the majority of instances they resolve uneventfully – or at least we feel that they have.

In the high ankle sprain, there are several structures potentially damaged. These include ligaments that connect the tibia to the fibula known as the tibfib ligaments, as well as a tissue called the interosseous membrane. The severity of this injury often depends on how many of these structures are damaged. The recovery time frame varies from 8 weeks to 6 months and this is why the high ankle sprain is so dreaded.

So the question is - is it a really bad common ankle sprain or a high ankle sprain?

SB Nation theorized that they're holding Exum out in case he needs to be used as trade bait there's a better chance of him passing his physical .
