Ok, that was wrong of me to use that line to get people to read this.

Last night Dave Rose showed me that he knows what the crap he is doing as a head coach. He was willing to bench anyone he had to in order to find the right players to win the game. He didn't use an automatic rotation. He didn't throw minutes to players that were hurting the team. He played the players that were producing.

Corbin should have the BYU game form last night uploaded to his ipad and watch it over and over. He needs to understand that it is considered better coaching to do what is best for the team. CJ is never what is best for the team. Howard can be as bad as he has been good. Jefferson only wants to play one side of the ball.

I honestly believe that the Jazz would win more games and the players would respect Corbin more if he was willing to do the hard thing and bench the vets when they suck, or when they don't want to play defense. It would even be ok to start the second half of games with a different line up than the one that he used to start the game.

Corbin, this is for you. Be a man and take control of the team.

Totally agree with this post. Even though I hate that BYU basketball is so much better than the Utes lately...

Orangello, I honestly thought that the title of this thread was intentionally mistyped.

I don't know what to say (or do), except laugh of course.

I have never claimed to have good typing skills but that is just embarrassing.

Why be embarrased? That makes no sense to me. Every one on here has done the same thing. I have probably a couple hundred times. The spelling police can sit on a stick and spin.

Yeah! Let's get a coach that gets down by 25 to a crappy team!!!!1!

I kid.

Come on man. We are talking about adjustments that might not be easy. Carlino received limited minutes ans so did Abouo. Then Rose turned around and played Harrison who has seen very few minutes this season. That is not always an easy thing to do, but it was the right thing to do and it lead the team to a victory.

I agree though, the should never have gotten down by 25 for any reason.

Be honest, how many times did you read and re-read those simple seven words? LOL

Once but only because I do that a million times myself and my brain automatically reads ****ty typing now.

Don't forget, Iona sucks too. They had a 17 point lead to Manhattan of all teams with 8 minutes to go in the game and still lost. I think BYUs win was 90% Iona being a crappy team, full of fail, that can't close a game and 10% Rose's "adjustments"

He could have put in the kids who play the trombone for the BYU band and Iona still would have blown that lead. Don't kid yourself, BYU is no good, this shouldn't count as a tourney win, and Marquette's going to destroy them no matter what teh bes tcoach evar does...

I'm not sure I agree with this. I can see this affecting a players psyche negatively due to the uncertainty of their role/playing time and whether or not they'll get pulled for missing a shot, missing a defensive assignment etc. The reality is we don't have anyone outside of Jefferson that I could consider consistent. On any given night AJ is going to score. Even the beloved Sap is inconsistent.
