David Locke toasts Kanter on 1280

I think it's about time for a purge fellas. What do I need to do to get a key to the mod room for 24 hours?

The blue elephant and sex favors are kind of not good.

Sex Favors is alright. His opinion isn't popular but I can understand his viewpoint, and he backs up his arguments with solid reasoning.

The blue elephant I don't even.

Nope. Both were universally loved by all but a small minority. Everyone thinks you're an idiot.

Pretty sure Jesus was crucified and Michael Jordan was hated by his competitors. "Everyone" thinks I am an idiot because they know I am smarter than them and are jealous. You can keep lying to yourself but you know I have smoked you on every single debate we have had no matter how much you and others lie to yourselves. Even you can't be that stubborn and disillusioned.

Yep, we can appreciate the work of scientists, artists, and thinkers of all kind. But when it comes to you, your godlike magnificence is just too much for us to accept.

Not been a fan of David Locke in the past. His comments overall and his behavior about Hot Rods passing ( not to mention he admitted he was wrong about Enes previous to this situation- Who admits they are wrong about anything anymore?) have left me with a different view of David than I had previously. So it requires me to say I have been wrong about Mr. Locke up to this point. You go David! Enes has left me feeling very let down and disillusioned about his basic character. What a shame!

Very disappointing response. I was hoping you would give examples and facts but instead said "jazz are worse with Kanter, team is completely different blah blah." You literally didn't respond to a single thing he said. The fact that the Thunder are winning without Ibaka and Durant. The fact that the Jazz were improving even before the trade. The fact that Kanter played very well and was perfectly complimented by Ibaka. Literally nothing...

I have been a Kanter supporter from the minute we drafted him. I felt injuries and Corbin seriously hindered his development, but thought his defense was finally improving under Quin. In spite of his deficiencies, I hoped that he would play out his career as a Jazz man. But I am first and foremost a Jazz fan, so when Kanter asked to be traded, I knew he was history -- sad to see him go, but I wasn't going to defend a player who didn't want to be here. And I wished him success .................... until he trashed my Jazz in the media.
.
I really don't give a damn now about how badly Kanter was or wasn't treated. He asked to be traded and he trashed the franchise, the players, and the fans. Those are the only facts that matter. **** you, Kanter, **** your agent, and **** whatever team you sign with next year!

Not sure I agree fully with this.

Burks seems to have made it through the Corbin years ok.

It is possible this has more to do with the player than the coach, imo.

I agree, Burks had it even tougher ... but I hated Corbin so much, I can't help but empathizing with those guys who came up when he was the coach.

I'm sorry, but how did Burks have it tougher? I agree he had it really bad years 1-2, but his role was clearly defined in his third year, and he was relied upon. Enes was still being jerked around his entire third year, then benched for Marvin Williams.

Here is the game logs for 13-14 in case you,ve forgotten. There were games he only played twelve ****ing minutes. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/k/kanteen01/gamelog/2014/
