Which honestly is a ****** place to be. I enjoy winning and playing well still in the moment. Its like McDonald's... **** tastes good right now but later I'm like "why did I do that".

First one was 6 pages in 48 hours
This was 18 pages in 24 hours
Next one by steady progression would be 54 pages in 12 hours
 
Well I for 1 am predicting we drop down the standings like a ton of bricks over the final stretch as DA start to tighten his grip on the team.

Let’s see if I’m right or wrong.

Right....like why would you go to a team employee to tell you that the team isn't trying to win? Have no idea why people get mad that a team employee is trying to give a PR approach and put the team in a good light. Why do we get mad at people for doing their job lol.

If teams were trying to optimize their chances of optimizing their winning each year (which is what I think the original thought was), there would be a whole lot more trades involving rookies and second-year guys. Even the Warriors last year could have traded Wiseman, Moody, Kuminga for players that would have increased their odds of winning (despite the fact that they won the whole thing). Should we call that tanking?

To me it beats the endless beating of the chests about how we know how to draft or manage the money numbers than better DL did, or the interminable arguments about who were the innocent ones and who were the culprits in the meltdown last year -- themes that occupied innumerable threads last year. But hey, to each their own.

Well, good point. Letting your players grow but not taking yourself out of the playoff race. I guess it should be called not optimizing your team for a playoff run while still considering growing your team should be called something else.
