Me. Watching Jimmer come to ESA twice a season is painful enough, I don't want 41 games of it.
I want the Jazz to trade #14 and #21 for #7, draft McCollum and call it a day.
Well then you'd love my trade, which also gives you a free Jimmer.

Rather not have 2 inexperienced point guards.
A rookie with Jimmer would not be good. Rather have a veteran back up the rookie or vice versa. Jimmer wold be pointless to have unless they just don't want his contract.
I would argue if we have Burke, Tinsley and Jimmer, that's a decent line up.
Let's think about this.
- Start Tinsley 1st half of the season, Burke off the bench to learn the ropes. Burke played 2 years at college, so I think he's more than ready to come off the bench.
- Then let Burke start just before the All Star break when we feel he is ready, then Tinsley is 1st off the bench.
- Jimmer would do more or less when he did when he's with the Kings, so he'll just fill in when someone gets injured. Once Tinsley is backing up Burke, hopefully he'll have more time to mentor Jimmer, get him up to speed mentally to play in the NBA.
Sounds pointless to have Jimmer a the 3rd string. Kings are trying to get a late lottery pick. I think they will have to eventually go for a 2nd round. I don't think Jimmer is worth the 21st pick.
And with our cap space I would hope we can get a better PG than Tinsley............ We can find somebody better than that to start. Get a better Veteran on a 2-3 year deal.
Agreed. It will make me sick if we trade the 21st for Jimmer. Seriously, what does he bring to the table? He's a 1 dimensional player and that dimension hasn't been all that great so far.
If we draft Trey Burke I would go after these veterans
Will Bynum
Beno Udrih
Keyon Dooling
Billups
C.J. Watson
I know Tinsley has the upper hand because of Corbin. But I would rather have Tinsley being the 3rd string and a player coach.
Sign one of these guys who have a little more ability physically than him. Whether its shooting or athletic ability.
Well I don't love Jimmer neither but it seems Kings would throw him in there just to get a deal done.
Would you rather do #14 and #21 for #7 instead? Or have Jimmer as a throw in as well?
Rather than trade the 21 pick for T-Rob or Jimmer I'd prefer seeing if Gobert or Giannis or Shroeder falls there or even grab Withey @ 21.
Jimmer has no value right now. Especially to the Kings. Don't give anything more than a second rounder for him - if that. If Jazz want him just wait and get him for free when his contract's up and he's desperate for a job. Same goes for T-Rob. Kings and Rockets are selling so low so the price should match.
I'm more intrigued by the possibility of upside falling there to 21, or just grab Withey - who's a great 3rd big (and an actual C).
Rumors show it won't be a throw in from what I have read but they could be wrong.
I honestly don't even want Jimmer. Would be too big of a distraction. The same way Tebow is. Good guys but the media would create problems and drama.
If I was another team I would take Jimmer so maybe a 3 team trade? Just being here in Utah the media would create problems.
Also I don't want to trade the 21st at all if it can hurt our chances of moving up in the draft. I want Trey Burke. If we cannot get Trey Burke than stay put.
Stay away from MCW or the Centers at that spot. Too high to draft a big man who will never play behind Kanter and Favors. If its the best player available trade down.
I feel like the idea that Jimmer being compared to Tim tebow is ridiculous. It would bring a lot of local media coverage at the beginning of camp, but it would quickly die down.
Guys.. the main idea is to get Trey Burke.
NOT JIMMER.
TREY BURKE.
The gist of the trade is really #14 + #21 for TREY BURKE. But obviously if we can grab JIMMER as well so be it.
But the idea is to get TREY BURKE.
