Game Thread Dec 13, 2024 07:30PM MT: Phoenix Suns @ Utah Jazz

Great job by Hardy in the 2nd half to secure the loss. The two JCs did not hurt their trade value tonight. I think Collins is playing like a boss at the moment. It seems like he gives it his all virtually every game. Viva la tank!!!!!

Nice loss overall. There were some great plays and I actually feel worse for the Suns than us. They've traded everything away twice now..... and one of them almost never plays. I still wish they won the title over the bucks though.

Lauri is not on the trade block. If he was, Jazz were running much more actions for him and using multiple screens if needed. The FO most certainly wants to see him with the high pick of 25 draft and then decide.

He has also had back issues and didn't still look like 100%. There's a reason he's been almost solely floor spacing in the corner lately. It's to allow him play without getting banged too much. There's always someone glued on him so it also allows more space for others.

Hilarious that Bradley Beal is on a SuperMax contract lol

If I was a NBA team I could talk myself into Clarkson being a really good piece to add. The dude is super good, he just has to (or at least feels like he has to) do way too much for Utah.

Key is getting better offensively defensively and at running the offense. This is exciting!!
It is games like this that make me think that Keyonte can be be a very good combo guard in the future. Games where he gives great effort on both sides of the floor, does not force anything on offense, takes good shots, efficiently drives to the basket using defensive seams, finds the teammates with his assists, keeps great attitude throughout the game... In short, being the anti-Clarkson. And these games happen more and more often lately!

2 things about the game last night that I saw no mention of:
1. AJ Dybantsa was at the game and got to meet his favorite player (KD)
2. That windmill dunk by Collins was sick AF

I think it might have been after a play Keyonte made, AJ was in the background clapping. Might be wrong on it being Keyonte, but it was a Jazz player. Rooting for his future team.

You miss understood what I typed apparently. I said AJ got to meet his favorite player (KD) I said nothing about cheering or clapping for a anyone after a play.
AJ met with Durant. They had a brief conversation. I saw a video of them talking in a tweet. Durant is AJ favorite player. Cool moment for him. Probably wasn't shown on the broadcast though. Which would totally make sense that no one posted about it lol. This thread barely had any posts in for some reason.

I do hope the jazz are his future team though.
