What's new

Dennis Schroeder "will seek other opportunities to be a starter"...

Schroeder just air-balled a wide open FT line jumper.

Had to chuckle about that one. He's looking for 3 teammates, and then shoots after none cared to close out.(went nuts inside, after couldn't find the first pass, like: SHOOT it's FT basically before someone closes on you)

Yeah, he is playing great other than that, but it was a lol moment.

Good game from ds again last night

Langston Galloway's a pesky defender, and Dennis mostly just shredded thru him, he's beating defenders almost at will, that scoop shot layup he does is his patented move, he can pull it off vs everyone it seems -- Rudy could get to it though.. Dennis can also pull up for floaters, those look good so far. Plus he's constantly getting his teammates GREAT looks..

He's one of the quickest players in the league - I dare anyone to write a list of players quicker..

There's no way ATL can afford to trade him - at this point that'd be ludicrous.. Teams are still letting him shoot 3's and he's 3/8 so far..

OT: The Knicks starting Sasha Vujacic is so hilariously bad, its worthy of mention... Korver lit him up, also one of Vujacic's bricks from 3 was like a boomshot off the backboard, I thought someone was knocking on the front door for a second.

Also Robin Lopez was trying to thread big to big passes vs Millsap, which were promptly stolen and turned to fast break buckets --- **** really had me asking 'why' and 'What is Derek Fisher thinking?!' - He looks like a ****ty coach.. They don't have their draft pick this year, I don't get it.. They got a real one with Porzingis though..

Derrick Fisher is an awful coach. That's for sure. Phil Jackson is an even worse GM. That franchise is not going anywhere for a while.

They're going to the playoffs this year.

That's not impressive. It's the east. I'm pretty sure you can back your way in with a sub .500 record.

I doubt they even get in. They certainly aren't going to be winning any playoff series.

I'm not sure what you are trying to argue tbh. You think that's a good team?

Well you said they weren't going anywhere in a while. I said they are going to the playoffs.

Nothing to complicated to understand there.

I think New York has a solid team.

They have a better than average starting Center, a great scorer, a supremely talented young PF, and a nice bench. Their guard play is pretty bad/mediocre, but I like Galloway and Grant.

A first round exit in the east is not the definition of going somewhere.

No, I think that is the definition of going to the playoffs. It's somewhere they weren't last year, so it's forward progress, or going somewhere. If the jazz make the playoffs and lose in the 1st round, I'm sure we would all be happy that we went somewhere and made progress.

Can't compare the two. Getting in the playoffs in the east is a lot different than the west.

Is this your first day?

It's still something and an improvement to what they were last year. So they are on the path of progress and forward movement, which is going somewhere.

Ok. What I mean to say is. That franchise is nowhere near contending, and won't be for a long time unless they were to do something drastic and smart, and trade Carmelo while he still has value.

They aren't winning championships. They aren't entertaining. Doubt they even get over. 500. That's a bad team. Regardless if they get in the playoffs or not.
