What's new

Deron is coming back to Utah.

We don't want him back.

RONDO RONDO RONDO.

Again, Rondo's big strength is passion to open shooter. Name me ONE shooter Rondo will have to pass to on this team. One.

Ok then, Rondo's effectiveness is wasted on this team. He would be a bust here.

I don't think so. He happened to be on a team with two world-class shooters. Rondo can penetrate and break down the defense. He has amazing court vision. He throws surgical precision passes to open men in the post. He is a top rebounder for a guard. And he's about the best defensive PG in the league. Oh, and he's a very under rated scorer.

Is there any indication of that? Him opting out after poor season and trying to secure new long term deal before Olympics seems pretty selfcentered... as always.

Comments like this are ridiculous. Would you stay in NJ? No, you wouldn't. You would opt out as well. To say that this shows a lack of anything on Deron's part is silly. Just silly. Not one of you guys would sign another year on your deal, and leave what, just under 100 million on the table. Deron didn't say he wasn't coming back to NJ. In fact, Deron was very respectful of NJ by saying he would quickly decide, so he doesn't leave NJ blowing in the wind, wondering if he is coming back. Deron deciding quickly shows a positive towards his character, not a negative.

So, when Rondo penetrates into the paint and runs into Jefferson, Millsap and Favors, how does that help us?

We already can throw the ball into the post. Wash there.

We have four elite rebounders on this team: Jefferson, Millsap, Favors and Kanter. Is he going to out rebound them? So, how does rebounding help us?

He is a great passer, but we don't need that. We score plenty.

Rondo just doesn't help us out that much.

If he wants to, Deron can eat Rondo alive.

Ok, life gave him a lesson. He ate some **** and now he's ready for some serious stuff ))

Give him a team, which Utah is and we can have a title.

Why would Deron want to come back? He was traded away in the middle if the night, and when he came back he was swiftly boooed out of the stadium by the same fans he always talked good about.

Three quick points:

1. If, for some reason, Deron came back, we would be a MUCH better team.

2. The Utah Jazz are not the same team Deron left (or, was sent away from...)

3. When Deron wins, he is happy and a helluva team player.

I don't know whether Deron would have any interest in returning, but neither does anyone else on this board.

.....Williams is not coming back to Utah.....we could make him the highest paid guard in the league...and he still wouldn't come back. End of Story!

What options do he have?

Utah may be one of his best options.

But in the end I agree, he has some reasons not no come back.

Imagine our teams in the Dwill era, but they play defense, aren't soft, and have a 2nd wing playmaker.

I understand the Deron hate, but at the same time I don't understand the hate that leads people to believe the team would be worse. And for the posters saying amnesty Jefferson...no. Amnesty Harris.
