Deron looking horrible at the all star game

For all you jokes out there talking about Deron's assists... You people need to realize a few things:

#1 Deron's real team doesn't feature Kobe Bryant or Tim Duncan. I believe most people on this board could look pretty damn good throwing the ball to Kobe, Griffin, and Duncan.
#2 It's an allstar game. There's no defense. All Deron has to do is get the ball, run as fast up the court as he can, and throw it up for someone to dunk.
#3 Deron's shot looked horrible. Which is one of his main problems. His shooting has sucked for a while (when he's not turning the ball over). Unlike the allstar team, we actually need Deron to be able to shoot and score. From what I saw, Deron's wrist isn't the only thing hurting, but his confidence in his shot.

No. They were good tight space passes regardless of how soft All-Star games usually start out.

Ah.

So most allstar games don't have tight space passes? Please, enlighten me. Which allstar games had good tight space passes and which did not? How do most allstar games usually start out? Please, provide with some evidence to support your opinions.

Seriously man, a few layups didn't fall....
But if you meant horrible, you must've been talking about Chris Paul's game.
He had a million turnovers, at least.
Deron barely got to touch the ball really.

People are complaining about an all-star game performance? Lulz. Might as well beat your kids with a sack of oranges for getting B's on their practice tests.

Though Chris Paul played 11 more minutes than Deron, here's how it went down, so another person doesn't get it all wrong like you just did:

Chris Paul had three TOs. Deron had two. Chris Paul had four boards. Deron had one. Chris Paul went 3-7. Deron went 2-7. Chris Paul had seven dimes. Deron had seven also. Chris Paul had five steals. Deron, as per his usual, had just one. Chirs Paul had zero blocks, Deron had one. Chris Paul's +/- was +3. Deron's was +7. Chris Paul finished with 10 points. Deron finished with five.

Yes, Chris Paul's game was "horrible." And he had a "million" turnovers, "at least."

How difficult was it for you to take a cursory glance at the boxscore before making your assertion?

dwill v. cp3 debate and boxscore aside, chrissy had a very lackluster game. His handle looked weak throughout, and the majority of his assists were not off creating, but rather off swing passes to Nowitski and other shooters. His game has looked off lately.

People still watch the ASG? You know, I was just thinking that if they could make the probowl just a little worse I might watch it. Well done NBA.

it was an exhibition, the haters are just dying for something to hate. the boxscore is always deceiving, if people would not have botched their given layups from deron he would have easily had 13 assists. his shot was off, but i expect it to be for a while until his wrist is healed. what i was glad to see was he was looking to create for others, which a pg should never forget.

Guys, can we get real? This **** ****ing matters. Stop riding his jock, you suck at reporting, try being objective. SEACREST OUT.
