Funny. It's a little better. But now I picture you Asian.
Your last one felt like I was being stared down by a fat gangster

There isn't a more laughable myth on Jazzfans right now than the one that "Corbin is just like Sloan" and "Sloan always played vets over rookies," Funny the effect time has on people's minds.Corbin is basically Sloan junior. He holds the same views on vets over rooks and their rotations.
What does this even mean? Please explain why a team needs a good back to the basket player to be successful. The problem with using Jefferson off the bench is who's my post player now?
I am not a Favors hater nor a Favors apologist. I see him as a young player with tons of potential who sometimes plays great, and sometimes looks lost. Potential is a dangerous word, it gets fans to see things that aren't really so and can get NBA coaches & GMs fired.
Right now in his second season Favors numbers look almost identical to Kwame Brown's numbers in his 2nd season. see here:
If that doesn't make you nervous, then you got more nerve than me. My biggest concern is not his physical skills, its mental. Hopefully he can grow out of those little lapses. But until then, I'm not ready to crown him as the next Jazz

But seriously, when nerd tells me that I'm wrong, I'll actually listen. When GVC and nerd tell me I'm wrong, then I'm probably very wrong.
I guess there's a first time for everything, though. Favors blows.
Am I the only one who isn't on the Favors bandwagon? I just don't see why people are all over his nuts. He isn't really that good, doesn't look to have much potential, and plays two or three mediocre games for every awesome game he has. I'm not trying to be a dick here or hating on him -- I actually like him -- but I just don't get it. He's a great backup, nothing more.
That's funny right there.
To the point though, I'm not trolling. Also, I don't look at stats (unless I'm writing up something about Chucker J. Smiles -- can you blame me?) so I have no idea what his numbers are. Frankly, I don't care either. He's better than Millsap and Jefferson? And people think I'm trolling...
I just don't see it, guys. He has piss poor handle on the ball. He has ZERO post moves. He has no mid-range game. He is a head case. Granted, he can rebound and occasionally has a break-out game, but give me a break, he is not a starter on many teams, and certainly not the Jazz. Like I said, I don't look at stats, I watch the games. He will always be "good", but will never sniff an all-star game.

the other problem is minutes. until recently, with the 3-big lineup, the guy was basically capped at 20 minutes. because no matter how well he was playing, corbin always pulled him to go back to big al.... pretty much always. there have been so many nights when favors was the better player and still wound up watching the late fourth quarter from the bench. look at his march numbers: even though it was his best month of the season, he exceeded 23 minutes only THREE times, and two of those were because al was injured.
per-36 numbers in march: 16.4 points, 12.8 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, 1.4 steals. he's just not getting the minutes, no matter how well he plays.
Interesting bump, and I still stand by my original statement. He sure beats the snot out of Weenus Koonter though, which is surprising.
10/10
Sig-Worthy.

BUMMER. Now I find out you don't understand Basketball and talent too.
Actually I'm on Favors subject.Wait, wait, wait... Are you angry with me because I said Koonter isn't as good as I had hoped and thought? Anyone that isn't from your little armpit of the world agrees. Once he learns to not bring the ball down to his knees before he jumps -- EVERY TIME -- and that an up n' under is a great move, but not -- EVERY TIME -- then let's chat. I'm thinking he'll be wearing a 76'ers jersey by this point, so we won't have the chance to talk it out.
Actually I'm on Favors subject.
Even worse.

Favors is very good with immense upside .. but also a bit overvalued, imo, by Jazz fans. I just wish he'd get tons of confidence and get a mean streak going. Punch a couple midgets or something.
Favors needs some easy buckets. Fast break, PnR, drop offs.
He's not getting much of any of that right now. Not sure if that's Corbin's or Harris' fault. But, I believe he'd benefit greatly from more running and more PnR. Oh, and a PG that could penetrate the lane and drop off the ball for an easy dunk now and then.
He's not at a point in his development where you can just dump the ball off to him in the low block and expect him to get you points with good efficiency. Maybe he will be one day, maybe he won't, but I think if we ran more, if we PnR more his offensive stats would improve and folks would think he's a better player.
As long as we're running the 'walk the ball up the court and give the ball to Jefferson on the low block and watch' offense Favors is going to struggle to impress.
