100% .. I feel very confident that we've got one of the best group of young guys in the league.
What about the Clippers?
Eric Gordon, DeAndre Jordon, Aminu, Bledsoe (surly you like him), Blake Griffin?

Yep, they do too, lol.
Gordon, Jordan, and Griffin .. damn.
Or you don't get it. The difference between Bogut and Jeremy Evans isn't how much off the ground their head is from the floor, the difference is Jeremy Evans weighs 80 pounds less than Bogut.

I will notice when Favors starts playing like Howard. He's very far from that.
Thank you captain obvious. I'll have to write that down. Perhaps that is what I meant by natural size giving a player an advantage. I don't know if I can take this forum much longer, the average intelligence here is on par with a small prairie animal.

Jazz4ever said:Yes, my argument was Bogut's natural size lets him anchor a defense better than a 6'9" or 6'10" guy.
Jazz4ever said:being a natural 7 footer has some slight advantages over a longer armed 6'10 guy. Otherwise we could have ran AK and or Jeremy Evans at center who both have well into the 9's in standing reach.
What, that someone could get their panties in a twist because they're terrible at communicating their point?Okay, I'm late to the party and have no dog in the fight, but THAT was pretty funny.

Yeah, I guess THAT is pretty funny.
Nope. Though I rarely use BOLD in my posts, this one was called for and cleverly used to make my point. What was funny was one poster calling another poster "captain obvious" and then proceeding, in the next sentence, to state, "Perhaps that is what I meant by natural size giving a player an advantage."
It's okay if no one else finds that funny, but I did.
No they weren't.The original argument was the importance of standing reach for a center, not height or weight related. I mentioned Bogut's natural height in addition to his standing reach gave him an advantage over Kanter as a center. The words were then misconstrued by GVC
Bogut is a legit argument, although being a natural 7 footer has some slight advantages over a longer armed 6'10 guy. Otherwise we could have ran AK and or Jeremy Evans at center who both have well into the 9's in standing reach.
In other words:But the point is, Numberica, you don't have to butt into every conversation halfway in. There is no award to being the first one with 10K posts.
No they weren't.

How was I supposed to understand this? If Evans or AK were their same height AND weighed 280, they could potentially be very good centers (if they do indeed have 9'+ standing reaches). You probably shouldn't call other people stupid when you've clearly demonstrated in this thread that you're far from a ****ing genius.
Too bad for Ben Wallace...he'll never make it as an NBA center. That is exactly what I meant by natural size advantage. If AK was 7 ft, logic dictates he would weigh a lot more, probably enough to play center. There is a direct correlation between height and weight. Apparently a couple of our esteemed members here can't draw logical conclusions so will be more careful in the future.
