Its going to be one of these guys. If Williams can for sure play the three I would be leaning that direction. But man looking at the Nike Summit game Kanter is a baller. Okur would be a great mentor to him.

Either way Jazz win big in this draft. Just wanna see which guy you would rather have.

Ford has us taking Knight at 3. So it could be one of those 3. Then again, maybe Ford is way off base.

I don't think both players will fall to us at #3 - so I don't think we'll have the luxury of choosing.

But in the unlikely event that it does I would have to say Williams.. too many question marks over Kanter (i.e., back injury, knee injury, etc).

IF wiliams does not drop, i like what ford is predicting. Knight at 3, singleton at 12. If knight went back to school he more than likely would have been top three next year. This guy has crazy upside and skills.

Only IF Cleveland takes Irving. I think they will, but if Kanter or Williams really impresses, they could then decide on one of those bigs and hope Irving drops or go with Knight at #4. That's actually the direction I'd go if I were Cleveland's GM. I'd take Williams and then expect Minnesota to pass on Irving (Rubio) and anticipate Utah going big or SF with Harris already under contract.

I'm really liking Singleton at #12.

I think we would take Irving in that Scenario. We would have taken Irving 1st IMO if we would have won the lottery.

williams doesnt have the half potential kanter has, he is gonna play well in his rookie year thanks to his physic, but i dont see him improve himself much. he cant lift our team to next level at all, but kanter can if he reaches his potential, i cant imagine williams defending durant, but i can imagine kanter defending blake griffin

I would lean toward Williams now. A lot can change between now and june 23 though. Freak I wish Sullinger and Barnes would have come out this year.

I wanted nothing to do with Sullinger. I would have wanted Barnes at 3 though.

Williams is a tweener which relies on his physical qualities in the first place. It may or may not translate well in the NBA. His celing IMO is solid starter but he won't carry an NBA team.

Williams is only the obvious choice if we believe he can play SF full time. If he can't, then I think it's a toss up between Kanter and Knight.

thats what im trying to explain all day long

My dream would be to get Williams and start him at the 3. This would allow us to bring Millsap of the bench as the sixth man. Also, if Jimmer is there at the 12 spot, we would be stupid not to take him. One of the Jazz's biggest flaws this last season was the lack of outside shooting. That is what Fredette specializes in. He would be the absolute PERFECT player to bring of the bench with C.J. Miles, Jeremy Evans, Paul Millsap, and Mehmet Okur. We would have speed, defense, athleticism, and low-post scoring from our starters while having wide-open scoring ability and outside shooting from our reserves. We could challenge the Mavericks as being the deepest team in the league.
