Derrick Williams

Would you trade Raja Bell and the Golden State pick for Derrick Williams? We wanted more for the GS pick, but at this point it could be in the 10-14 range next year and it would be great to drop Raja. Personally, I would do it, but I don't think most people here would.

I would do that in a heartbeat. It seems Minny has already given up on this guy, but probably not to that extent.

We alreaduy have one in Marvin Williams, although he can at least hold his own as a SF. And we have another in Millsap who, due to his tenaciousness, can compete against most starting PF's in the league.

I definitely wouldn't trade Kanter for him. It's likely Derrick Williams becomes a decent backup as a swing forward. And yes, I'll admit I was one of those who thought IF he could play SF, it would create a tremendous lineup for Utah. Glad Minny got him instead.

Give the guy some time. He's had one nba shortened season, with no camp to play. The boy just needs some time to develop.

He's the T'Wolves Millsap, except they've had Love instead of Boozer in front of him... Now that Millsap is using his hands more effectively on D, yes, he can compete reasonably well against MANY other PF's...
