Describe your first Jazz game ever!

Accidentally spilled beer all over a lady at an RSL game once.

Was drunk and told her she shouldn't have come to a soccer game if she didn't want to have fun.

She should have dumped a soda on you.

If you can afford to get drunk on $7 Utah beer you can afford to buy someone a bitchin jersey.

It's pretty vague at this point in my life (I'm 32) but I remember seeing the Jazz play either the Spurs or the Cavs at the Salt Palace when I was 8 or 9. This was probably a few years before the Delta Center opened. I just remember it being dimly lit and I thought it was weird that Hot Rod wasn't there to provide play-by-play. I had the time of my life and I'm glad my parents were able to take me to dozens of Jazz games over the years.

Still remember it like it was yesterday. First game for me was with my Jr Jazz team at the Salt Palace. December 5th, 1986. Jazz destroyed the Knicks. The pregame giveaway was a Jazz baby bib which I had signed by the team after the game. They had a booth set up with free 3pack diapers as well and I took about 10 packs for my baby sister. My mom was happy. After the game we went down onto the court and shook Mark Eaton's hand, then headed over to the hall next to the locker room and waited for the players to come out. Back then you could get right up to the locker room doors. Like I said I had everyone sign my baby bib except for Malone who had a secret escape route that he used to avoid the fans. Dell Curry came barging out of the locker room yelling NO AUTOGRAPHS, NO AUTOGRAPHS. Still hate him to this day.

The only thing I remember about the first Jazz game I went to was that Kevin Garnett got ejected and punted the ball into the crowd. Man the DC crowd was good back then.

Was tailgaiting across the street for a few hours before the game drinking Sailor Jerry and playing flip cup.

I was 12. Salt Palace floor seats. A year or so before Stockton was darfted. Griffith, Dantley, Green were kind of the big 3. I don't remember much about the game per se, but after the game I met some of the team. Green and Griffith were cool, signed stuff for me and some other kids, so did a few other players, but most were no-names, and I still have the ball and program they signed. I think that was Eaton's rookie year. He was a freaking GIANT!! And I was nearly 6 ft tall at the time, and he still looked so so so huge. Dantley was a dick. If I remember right he didn't have the best game and was kind of pissed. I went to maybe a dozen games that year, as my dad's friend was an accountant for Battistone or the Salt Palace or some such and had seats basically on the front row he didn't use. Have been hooked ever since.

My first Jazz game was amazing. Jordan and the Bulls take Jazz to three overtimes at the Salt Palace. Jazz pull out the epic win. Best game I've ever been too. First and best. Became a Jazz fan for life because of this one game.

I saw AD, Stein, Jeff Wilkins, Deuces, the Fastest of them All, and Stock vs. Denver in a playoff series. Fat Frank was the coach and Sloan an assistant.

1988 in the Salt Palace, the Jazz vs. Washington bullets. Although I was very young, I remember Karl Malone going coast to coast, dribble and everything for a hammer time dunk. I remember it was very very hot and dark inside.
