He knows now that some of the harsh things that happened when he was a first-round pick as a teenager for Utah worked out for the best.

Considering the road Dsteve was heading down when he got to Utah I'd have to say whatever changed him did a pretty good job. If I recall didn't he get into a fight the night he got drafted, than the statutory rape thing his second year. He may be a moron but I haven't heard anything about him getting into trouble much lately either. I've always been a fan of the guys and I would agree with the statement that he wouldn't be in the NBA if it wasn't for Sloan, I have my doubts he'd even have his freedom if it wasn't for Jerry Sloan.

you do realize that that was not a racist statement. In fact it was backed up by previous behavior by the player in question. Both assault and statutory rape are offenses that can merit incarceration.
